Rental Magica ...

It ain't something to write home about. Hardly unique or high budget either. Still after observing many people's preferences in Motemote I thought that Rental Magica might be worth mentioning...

The series finished airing nearly a year ago and tells a tale of a bunch of kids, teenagers (and one adult if I remember correctly) exorcising ghosts and stuff in all sorts of flashy ways.
It consists of few mini-arcs loosely composed together but the story isn't why I'm mentioning this. It's because of the fun, entertainment and fanservice it provides. Our main cast is a hilarious bunch, composed of a silly and usually weak main male protagonist surrounded by a fairly unique harem :
-a childhood friend who just happens to be a witch
-a rich and boasty tsundere who competes for his feelings
-a loli miko priestess
-a cute and fairly normal maid character (for a poltergeist that is :P)

The series looks and sounds surprisingly good and the overall composition is nice IMO.
Like I said - nothing legendary (I gave it a 7/10 on anidb and other sites I visit frequently) but if you're looking for simple and undemanding entertainment similar to Rosario or Negima (much better than RM but shares much in common) you should like this.

I just LOVE ANIME! that's all.
I may not like every single title/series but at least... I want to support this community by sharing some info regarding some of the animes I've seen and know about...and recommend the ones which I've enjoyed watching to others.

actually, I feel like this section is being taken for granted...
most people just talks about Random & Incoherent things...LOL! (myself included)
but if not for the success of mangas & animes... I doubt it that there'll be as much doujinshiis, hentais, and h-games as we have today. and if that's the case...Fakku would have never existed.

I know that Fakku, first & foremost, is a Hentai site. but it wouldn't hurt to talk about the anime wherein those hentai/doujinshi branched about, don't you agree?

...just a piece of my mind...we couldn't force people to do what they don't want to and it wasn't my intention to do so. I'm just a bit frustrated that there's not even 1/4 of reg-users who posts in this section! I think there's just about 10 regular users and another 10 irregular users who posts every once in awhile... :(

with that said...whatever we're doing here becomes somewhat useless... if you get what I mean... well, guess I'll just continue what I'm doing in hope that more users in Fakku will someday learn to appreciate anime even if just for a bit more... 8)

I'm sure a ton of people here appreciate the original shows and not just stuff that originated from them. What I'm trying to do is point out some shows that may have been missed and are noteworthy nonetheless. Spend a large portion of my life watching them so why not share the knowledge ? :P

but honestly the anime dissapointed me it was kinda like gunparade were they wont make up their mind

will it be romance or will it focus on magic.....
instead of satisfying everyone with a hard romance story with a nice magical background they fell too short for me...

well thats just me..
but i wish the anime was a little more serious cause all you need for a nice serious anime is there...
i dont know whats missing but its missing something

actually, I do feel the same as you that there's something lacking or missing in the series. But when I thought about it, the series is pretty much far from over. It just ended the way it did due to production matters, the story has yet to develop further, plot and romance wise. It's adapted from the light novels which I believe, has not yet concluded. So it's pretty much safe to say that we can still expect a continuation of this unfinished series, maybe in the near future.

At least I really liked the ending theme :). And a most of the romance parts even though there was only like 15% of it. :|
