aka Demon Prince ENMA
It's been almost a year now since I've seen it and it has been one of my favorite "horror anime" ever since. There's even "comedy" mixed in it, in the first three and a half episodes that is. Not to forget, one should be delighted about a few "uncensored scenes" (here's a sample)
here's the true sample:
Trust me, it's worth it! (4eps/40-50mins) :D

Hmmm ... I seem to have missed this title. A rare occasion indeed.
And it seems promising to :)
Is this more the 'fuck with your brain till you don't know what's going on' type of horror or something with faster pacing and more eye-candy ?
Seems more like the second one and that would be more to my preference as well...

Neither. Just watch it anyway to find out...
You might not see it the way I did or you might not even like it at all, be the judge.

Bump because it's worth it IMHO.
Hermit's topic made me notice this title and now (after having finally watched it) I can say, I'm mighty glad it did.
I'm usually reluctant towards pure horror anime since their casts are often devoid of any life, making it hard to sympathize with them and be drawn into the story (provided it even exists). This is not the case however.
The cast is likable, intriguing and strongly connected to the story (they even receive an excellent, dramatic plot twist in the second half).
The sweet audio-visuals strengthen the already dark and ominous mood while the (seldom) comedic inserts and character interactions (and titties :D ) keep us entertained instead of bored.
Check this baby out if you think you've outgrown Pokemon by now.
PS/ Watching during the night with a good 5.1 sound system is highly recommended.
PS2/ Since you might not give a fuck about what I'm saying lemme just add that this comes from the director of Elfen Lied. Sound better ?
