Hatsukoi Limited (Spring 2009)
1
A while back, I remember a number of Fakku members voicing their dissent about the short length of the Hatsukoi Limited manga. Well then, good news for all Hatsukoi Limited fans; an anime based on the series will be airing in a few weeks time!
For those unfamiliar with Hatsukoi Limited, its storyline revolves around the lives of a few middle- and high-school girls, with plenty of focus on their romantic endeavours. Although quite a number of characters are featured, the tale of each individual will inevitably be linked to that of another, as seen in most anime titles falling under the romance genre.
Upon reading about Hatsukoi Limited, Kimikiss, which aired a couple of seasons back, comes to mind. Although the former is based off its manga counterpart, and the latter, off a game, both titles have similar themes concerning romance while pursuing an education in high (and middle) school. Needless to say, schoolgirls will be an integral part of Hatsukoi Limited.
Why anyone should watch Hatsukoi Limited:
- If you are a fan of the manga
- Beautiful artwork, which I believe will apply to the anime
- Schoolgirls (Highly recommended by Gambler) :D
- Possible ecchi/fanservice scenes, especially pantyshots (though I could be wrong)
- Just to understand the characters before an influx of hentai doujins hit the market
The individual covers of the manga:

Anyone else has Hatsukoi Limited on their watch-list for Spring 2009?

I would watch this as I'm a fan to Mizuki Kawashita's work. I'm pretty excited when I heard that Hatsukoi Limited is going to be animated. I hope its better than Ichigo 100% anime. Looking forward for it :)

Just watched the first episode and i must say that i'm already addicted to it! It's exactly like the manga which is a turn off for me because i love seeing the director's interpretation of the manga. But it's much better than what happened in ichigo 100%...
Anyways, can't wait for episode 2 and i hope this anime spews forth many more hatsukoi limited doujins. :p

Great show. I've watched 4 episodes so far and I'm loving every episode so far. Gorgeous school girls. 'Nuff said.

I didn't read the manga, yet the anime is quite good in my opinion.
I've read Ichigo 100% and then watched the anime- it was nothing compared to the manga. In fact I was on the verge of tears, after such a great manga I expected something a lot better.
Tell me, after finding Hatsukoi limited- anime fun, will the manga make me really happy?

Hatsukoi Limited was one of my favorite mangas.
I'm glad they made it into an anime.
I'll just wait months so I can bulk watch it in one session.

After almost 5 days of "soul searching", not only have I realized that I've never once posted in this "thread" but most importantly, how redundant it is to create episode topics which divert the attention of other users from the "original thread" that "we" worked so hard to create.
I instantly fell in love with this series from the very moment that I laid my eyes upon it... (It was truly love at first sight)! Anyway, I'll try to contribute to the "discussions" (hopefully, there will be) as much as possible. As of the moment, I'm patiently waiting for m.3.3.w 's ep.6 release. :D
Btw, it's already been awhile since the anime's "themes" were released. For all it's worth, allow me to link the thread where they could be downloaded. --- https://www.fakku.net/viewtopic.php?t=17719
@Gambler: can't we at least bind/merge together all of the episode discussion topics to their respective "specific" series' threads, let's say, after they've finished airing perhaps? Wouldn't it be more organized that way? - I'm only thinking of what's best for the anime section/forum; believe that. 8)
Moving along back to the topic, I just felt like mentioning my three most favorite girls (based from what I've seen in the anime thus far)... Hands down, Misaki's my top pick! Followed by Kei and Meguru. (How about you guys?)
Finally... has anyone uploaded any "Hatsukoi Limited" doujins yet?! :D

If I have the time, then I may upload a few Hatsukoi Limited doujins over the weekend. I believe they were released long before the anime got aired. :D

No need to tire yourself out Gambler (just relax over the weekend, rid yourself of all stress), I already have that matter taken care of... just at this very moment. :D

Whew! that's some work I did... I have nothing left in my tank to talk about the sixth episode which I saw just earlier... I certainly have a few words to spare the next time I come by (eventually). :D

A Christmas themed ep in mid-May; reasonable enough since they only did follow the events in the manga, and I must say that it was done pretty well. (I loved it very much!) It was rather one of the more serious toned episodes as it focused on Kei and Kusuda's "the more you hate the more you love" sort of relationship; despite having to constantly deal with Kusuda and Sogabe's retardation (LOLing that is). The funniest scene (for me) would be the two at a commoner's restaurant just before ordering when Kusuda suddenly vanished in front of Kei... only to realize that he was right there gazing upon one of the world's seven wonders! or of the series rather.
I still do believe that they're (Kei & Kusuda) a match made in heaven. A bit exaggerated, (obviously intentional) but it just proves how love can blind a person (literally) and how it can even change a person's outlook on certain things. - Not like the two are now officially a couple only after just that...
Also, J.C.Staff made the episode somewhat special ending it with clips on how each of the characters spent their time for X-mas while featuring marble's new single, "Gensou no Basho, Sorezore no Michi no Ue", at the same time; instead of the usual ED sequence and theme. I'm a very fortunate man to have had seen it!
Btw, I really do enjoy "automating" certain caps every week... As you can see, I ain't particularly good in PS but still, I just can't help but do it anyway. :D
It's none other than Kei of course for this week's episode...

Sigh... The best episode for me so far not only of the series but perhaps of the entire anime season. It had a good mix of everything that I can ever ask for a genre as such. I didn’t even expect that Chikura’s story would be anything special. I've gotta hand it to J.C.Staff for animating it so well, specially the "emotional" ending part (replacing the usual ED sequence/theme yet again) making full use of the effects and whatnot that really added more intensity and color to that bittersweet moment, while marble’s song entitled “Sora ni Mau” was playing in the background.
I'm already fond of Chikura since a few episodes back but this episode officially puts her 3rd in my favorite HL girls’ list. Actually, she’s got the ideal traits that I’m looking for in a woman, though she’s far too young to be referred to as one as of yet. She may not be the prettiest nor the sexiest in the gang but I could care less about mere appearances whenever I see a soul as "pure" as her. She’s kind, sweet, easy to approach (friendly), and honest, plus she’s an artist just like myself. :D
Sigh...... only three remaining episodes to go. I just hope everything goes well with the finale. Also, I'm sure that Sogabe's "moment" (in the manga) that wasn't shown here can easily be adjusted upon. It's only a matter of whether or not they'll still include his and Chikura's "conclusion".
On a relevant note, while I was info-hunting the other day, I came across a preview/trailer of a potential bonus DVD-only episode in its official web. If my hearing serves me correctly, I believe it's about this very clumsy girl named Ando Suwako who's also attending the same middle school as our main heroines. You can watch it in HERE. (go figure which of the four videos...)
Lastly (just to add), the OP and ED themes of the series can be found in HERE along with the first Character File (Kei & Rika's image songs) that was released a couple of weeks back.

Forget about the other episodes, episode 8 was the clincher for me... the drama was so thick you could cut it with a knife. Good thing I claimed Misaki as my waifu!
