Shaman King the real ending

it has begun...finally after 1 year the real ending of shaman king will be shown.

this chapter was quite short, some talking about being the shaman king by yo and the starting scene of the fight between horo and kalim

Technically, it's been 4 years (2004) since it's been released, but about a year for translations.

I hear the latest chapter (287 - the one with Horo & Kalim beginning to fight) is the worst of the new volume, and it was actually good. I expect great things from the real ending (Kang Zeng Bang), you know, like...a real ending.

I was thinking about reading Shaman King a little while back but decided to wait until the new ending was finished. Any idea about how much longer it'll last?

You should, it's actually pretty good. Link:http://shamanking-nation.com/ultimate-kzb-guide/ So, volume 26 came out 03/04/09 (there's 4 more chapters left to be translated) and I think volume 27 will be the last one, it will come out on 04/04/09, and will probably be translated fairly quickly.

well I heard that they made the 265 and 266 different but I haven´t read them so far, I just bumped into the new cahpter yesterday.

Those two were better than I thought they would be (considering the fighters weren't my favorite characters), and had all the comedy of the other chapters, it was like Takei hadn't taken a 4-year break. It was also nice to see what actually happened instead of feeling jipped.

I'm kind of disappointed that there will only be around 1 1/2 extra volumes, I think things will be/feel rushed, or Takei will leave out smaller non-important things.
