July has always been such a great month for me! :D I know that it's quite too early yet to be doing Summer season previews but meh; when I saw the trailer, I knew that I had to create a thread for it asap!





Originating from a manga series that's created by Mami Kashiwabara, Studio Comet's responsible for the series' production while Shinji Takamatsu would be in charge of the direction. Initial D, Capeta, and School Rumble were perhaps the only creations of Studio Comet that I've seen.

A girl who's organizing an astronomy club... I somewhat fell in love at first glance with the character designs and animation. I simply enjoy being laid back, relaxed while watching slice of life, romantic-comedy themed series such as this. (kinda reminds me of Sketchbook ~FC~ which I've finished just a couple of months ago) :D

The same people who did school rumble you say?! Definite must watch. Looks very promising.

i downloaded the PV, and i saw this....



immediately i put this into my "watch even if you die" list. Ito Kanae will be her seiyuu, which makes her even more adorable...

plus, i love stars, and astronomy. with all those reasons, this anime is a must-watch.

@K-neko: Shows you just how much I truly admire anime! There's no competition here at all. :razz: If you're actually keeping track of my activity, you would know that I haven't created a new specific anime thread for quite some time now. It's almost been a month since I've created the Princess Lover thread, which is also an upcoming summer title. I've even made a topic regarding the upcoming batch of Summer Anime shows and not even one user (other than me) has made a specific topic out of all those titles. And now that you mention it, I guess it's already about time that I post those things that I've prepared awhile ago.

Also, I've already replaced the PV with something that's still working (RAW).

hmmmThis looks perfect for me since I like romantic comedy animes so I'd say i put it on my must watch list.

Now that I've seen all of the series I've originally wanted to (and created a thread for) in this season, I've finally decided where my focus/favoritism must lie. That said, this is one of them 4. (along w/ Canaan, Bakemonogatari, & Tokyo Magnitude 8.0)

A very cute and lovable series about a tsundere guy and his childhood nightmare(ahem) I mean friend whom he meets at the same high school he's now admitted, in his return after 7 long years. :lol:

I've just found myself another couple to watch out for. Seriously, yes, I'm seriously in love with the series. I've even watched it a couple of times already; something that I rarely do. It made just all the right impressions and I'm certainly pleased with what I saw from its first episode. As early as it is now, I really hope this last for more than a season and the scanlation for its manga speeds up.

I'm so looking forward to the next episode and to what kind of voice Haruka Tomatsu will use in portraying Hime Makita's character. :D And not to forget, more of Mihoshi and Saku of course... and Sayo, and club president Roma :lol:, and Fumie as well.

I almost forgot to mention, Tomoaki Maeno, the seiyuu whom I admired in his portrayal of Touya Fuji in White Album, is responsible for voicing Saku, this time around. Also, as mibuchiha already has mentioned before, Kanae Itō as Mihoshi is so damn adorable! Saori Hayami (Saki Morimi/Eden of the East, Musubi/Sekirei), relatively another new comer in the voice acting industry, is here as well.

I didn't notice it sooner that you asked. METANORN my friend, that's where I got them from. There's a lot more that I wasn't able to upload in sadpanda, and from its recent episode. Btw, have you actually seen it yet. Like I told you before, TKK isn't so bad. They just so encountered a few line mishaps from the first episode and certainly, nothing went wrong this time around in ep2. (There's Aone but I'm currently still in a hating crusade, for almost a year now)

As for the episode itself, I don't think I'll ever get tired of laughing from these series...

If pictures (still images) could express a thousand words, gifs could certainly do the same (with ten folds more enjoyment). :D




And yes, Haruka Tomatsu delivered. Aside from that, there's just so many things that I'm really looking forward to in the series. Saku just doesn't realize how much of a chick magnet he really is. In the end, it could only be Mihoshi of course but having some competition(complication) isn't really a bad thing; it only adds on the fun. Also, club Pres Roma was just as awesome as ever. Surely, he likewise have more tricks up his sleeve. :lol:

and damn, I'm jealous of Saku...i want a mom like that too! Just finished watching the first ep and...well, I guess everything is going smoothly. The base is laid out nicely...I'm sure looking forward to what they have in store for us in the next episodes.

Also, mihoshi is soooo adorable...

Why you ask? Seriously, they're not really all that better. Watch TKK's episode 2 release and compare it to Aone's. Anyway, have you even seen or noticed Aone's ep2? It was already out last Wednesday (I figured I should let you know).

In any case, I started to have issues with Aone since a year ago. They kept on cutting (not including) the mere few seconds worth of next episode previews, which I find annoying. It may not matter so much but still, for crying out loud, it's only 15-seconds-to-half-a-minute long!?


Saku's mom is more of like Mihoshi's, rather than of his own... :lol:

I can't begin to wonder how you could say that... if you could ever choose your own mom ... or replace her... I just can't think of it like that. Our mothers might not be perfect but as far as I'm concerned, we came into this world through them.

But yeah, it might be fun to have Saku's mom for my own.

I'm getting quite impatient of waiting for its third episode to get sub... When push comes to shove, I'm more than eager to follow this series raw.

This is the first time I've followed Aone's series...so i dunno about them cutting things...but well, I know that Aone is not that much better than TKK...but...if i think the deciding factor in this is that Aone's subs is friendlier to my eyes...

And I got ep2 already, just couldn't find the time to watch...thanks for the info, anyway.
