Well let me start with some facts or more how i interpreted them.

Kildren: Kind of Clones, as soon as they die the next Version is shiped out, striped from all Memories of his last life, but with his military knowledge intact.

Teacher: Human Male, Former Member of the same Company as Yuichi and Suito

Reason for their Figthing: Entertainment of the Masses, or more like as long we have war we also have peace.

Suitos Daughter: Well it has been very clear that Yuichis former "Version" (Kurita Jinro) was the Father.

I don`t understand why he called Teacher his father and why the Hell did he fight him alone. Also this whole "Teacher" thing is pretty mysterious. Kind of Pathetic getting killed after telling the others to stay back. And why are they even figthing, didn`t look to me as they enjoyed it.

They're indeed "clones" and of course, as mere copies, they should very well have an origin. And who do you think fits best to the description or in other words, who's the most suitable person to be cloned (the original)?


Who else but an ace pilot, whom they only referred to as "Teacher". And actually, that codename is just appropriate and fitting. (that's one of the given "hints" early on) which concluded/proved this fact:


Kildrens aren't born the natural way and they don't even age. As we both agreed upon, they're like countless masses of bodies/clones that houses only the knowledge of how it is to be a pilot. When they die, we know for a fact that some of their memories are altered just enough to make them forget about their previous existence, and only the things that they've experienced/learned through being a pilot is retained (mannerisms included). :lol: The only things that ever change are their appearances and names. With that said, he couldn't have possibly been Teacher's love-child.

Just look back and think, wouldn't you agree that they or HE might have originated / cloned from the man whom they called "Teacher" ? (that makes a lot of sense to me) and that's why near the end he decided to fight his father alone. It's not like he had completely forgotten about his past and he even was able to recall some of it as Jinro. From the few descriptions that he learned about Teacher, it's highly possible that he simply managed to remember his origin. - Kildrens' memories aren't exactly erased as they can somehow feel or realize after awhile about their previous lives instinctively; that they live on nothing but a cycle of repetitive actions. Mitsuya would also serve as a good example.


You pretty much have answered your own question here. They were created for the sole purpose of entertainment. That's why they never age and even if they did die in combat, they'd only get reincarnated into another body. Let's put it as if they were programmed only with the know-hows of what it is to be like a pilot, nothing more nothing less. Whether if they enjoy what they're doing or not, that's pretty much about all that they could do. And as Yuuichi had said, "It's my job."


This may be the only thing that I'm uncertain of BUT I believe you're quite mistaken in declaring this issue to be very clear.

I'd have to say that Mizuki is the Teacher's child and not Jinro's. First of all, would clones such as them (mostly male), which sole purpose is to fight/flight, even be given the ability to reproduce... Maybe Suito's a special case and was able to give birth since she had sex with a real human male. It's still quite weird though no matter how I look at it. Her daughter grows and ages while she doesn't.
Second, Jinro's face wasn't really shown in the entire movie after all, so regardless of not showing the face of the guy whom Suito had done it with, the jacket should be enough to give away that person belonged in the same company as them. It could be Jinro but it could also be Teacher; as it was later on revealed that he was a former ally/comrade and was even stationed with them before he left and changed sides.
Third, let's base it on Mizuki's age. Did Jinro live for that long? (I don't think so) I'd say that Suito probably had Mizuki before she even had the chance to meet Jinro. Judging by Mizuki's appearance, let's assume that she's about 8-10 years old, or even if she's younger, about 6-7... when Jinro was eventually shot dead by Suito, Yuuichi's arrival wouldn't have taken that long. As to everything that I've said about Kildren and based on how it ended, Sasakura should be enough to prove that it didn't take that long to replace Yuuichi or any other dead pilots whomsoever.
My final reason for saying that Mizuki's father might have been Teacher; it only makes sense why Suito is so worked up when it comes to that topic. Remember when instead of returning back to base, she recklessly went out on her own and tried to take Teacher down by herself, and the following scenes after that; the Teacher was first introduced, she crashed landed and was found by Fuuko near her place, told Yuuchi about a certain familiar incident, and Yuuchi abruptly asking later on if...? So there you have it. In the end, I'd go with Teacher being Mizuki's father even though it didn't really have much of any importance to the whole movie.
