Sunrise announced they will make the latest Gundam Animation will be released at the end of this year!

This animation title is

Gundam U.C

It is set a few years after the battle against Neo-Zeon(Cha's counter attack), a new Gundam story begins!

This title is already released as nobel, and two MS plastic models are already released

Good news the Unicorn Gundam novels have been completed, so if sunrise wants to make a series they have a lot of material to choose from. Hopefully they will adapt the novel well to the anime.




I still don't know if it will be a movie or series, but if they choose to make it a series that would be a very wise decision IMO.

Gundam UC TV Series?
According to Japanese blog Char's News, Odaiba Walker 2009 August 30th Issue Summary Ver. (お台場Walker2009年8月30日号 要約版) announced that the animated version of Gundam UC is going to be a TV series coming in this year.



Awaiting confirmation on this piece of news. ^^ But for your information, if it's true, then it totally contradicts what Bandai President and CEO Kazunori Ueno said about having "no plans to broadcast [another Gundam] television series in 2009." (refer to this previous posting) in response to a question during Bandai Namco Group's press conference for Project Gundam 30th Anniversary.

We'll see if the good president has to eat his words on this issue. ^^;

Wow. A new Gundam is on its way. Guess I should really stop dragging my feet and watch Gundam 00 already, lol

Relena actually learned her lesson in Endless Waltz. If anything, the female lead is supposedly Mineva Lao Zabi under an alias after all this time. At this point, she's probably 17 years old or so.

The new trailer is out but it's video recorded. So far the animation looks really good. Hopefully a better ver. of the trailer will be out later.



Gundam UC is also confirmed to be a 6 episode OVA running 50 minutes long.
