gee, i feel like i'm watching a Hollywood movie with this one...

it's pretty cool; up to episode 5 right now

I just got the first episode, welll..interesting enough for me. Looking for the rest episodes

I have the epi's on my HD, just gotta get in the mood to watch epi 2 and up.

it's like fragments of one big plot or rather, many different plots viewed from different perspectives

and like, what i want to know right now is how do some people become immortal...

apparently, there's this elixir thing, but there seems to be some people who were already immortal before the elixir was produced...

Fuck this show is awesome.

Baccano is on my "watch-immediately-as-soon-as-it-is-released" list.

While there are certainly some issues (lower quality raws, for example), the show itself is quite excellent, although quite confusing at times.

I have yet to be able to convince any of my friends to pick it up, though (I've generally had good luck with other shows). It'll probably take getting them over to marathon it once it finishes.

So the first season is finally subbed. Haha, the ending was pretty funny.

Wow, I just finished this anime its like 2:48 am right now lol.. Best fucking anime ever?

Edit: This anime is really awesome and the action scenes are compelling and so much gore! Everything I wanted in an anime is in here. I tried to make my friend watch it, but he was like "saw first episode I was confused and it looked boring", douche bag. xD

Well there are 13 novels and from the titles it seems that a few weren't in the animated series. Baccano! 2001 The Children Of Bottle, Baccano! 2002 (A Side) Bullet Garden, and Baccano! 2002 (B Side) Blood Sabbath were the three that stood out to me. There could be more, but alot of them are missing synopsises.

What does that mean?
Wait, 2001 and 2002? Am I missing something other than the novels?

The one that takes place in 2001 is about four of the surviving immortals visiting a small town in Europe, looking for one of their own. But the town is very strange, and the secrets it holds will haunt them.

14-16 takes place right after the train incident, with a little bit of background story.

So I just started this series (I'm up to episode 6 ATM) and it's quite awesome. Though the time changes are confusing at the moment. >_> Makes me want to read the light novels, but I hate starting something that isn't done yet so I guess I'll have to wait 'til it's all subbed...

One word. EPIC.
