[size=12]PLOT: Behind the scenes of the hustle and bustle of every-day life in Tokyo, there exist many people who strive to become stronger by competing against each other in street fights. The main protagonist is Maki Aikawa, a 16 year-old high school student. A former gymnast, Maki adapts her skills to a different way of life - street fighting. The only thing that truly makes her feel alive is the rush and pressure experienced while fighting. With amazing power and grace, she fights opponent after opponent, repeatedly demonstrating the gymnastic talent that earns her her street name, "Airmaster". Eventually, Maki is exposed to a fighting league of sorts, known as the Fukamichi Rankings.

Has anyone watched this anime? I can't even remember how I came across it, but I just finished the first episode and besides the annoying-as-hell character Renge, I am looking forward to continuing watching it. It's not like the other, more popular, fighting anime with a leading female, but it still looks interesting. The first fighting scene was excellent, so I have high hopes for those in the future.[/h]

I've seen the series. I think it is an awesome anime series. The fight scenes are great to watch. The characters are... Well... They are very interesting. You'll see what I mean once you watch the rest of the series. Overall, I thought of it as an awesome series.
So, I hope you enjoy the rest of the episodes.

This is pretty much one of my favorite anime, although I would love to read the manga one of these days; as far as I know, nobody ever bothered translating any of it. Good anime though, some great fights. Needed more Julietta fights though.

One of my favorite animes also. Too bad here it was cut short on the fights on the end of the series, we really don't see how the other fighters develop or have powered up they're techniques.

The series started slow but picked up speed real fast. I just wasn't satisfied with the rushed ending where the audience is kinda left in a "huh?" reaction. And I thought the girl with the monster tits was annoying as fuck...

I just finished it; I have WAY too much free time, and I never savor a good anime (it backfired when I watched School Days, but that's another story for another time).
Not only were the fights amazing, I got a lot of great laughs, especially from Julietta.

I liked the way Julietta decked two guys by kicking their heads into the ceiling... fucking hilarious.

I really love this anime, too bad for the ending though. I wish they could do more with the last episode fight.

Yes, Juilietta with Maki's father was hilarious, and it went off the charts when he left Julietta in Maki's room.
