[Anime] Seitokai no Ichizon

Looking back at the preview images of the past few anime seasons, Seitokai no Ichizon could have been slated for summer 2009, but said title is now confirmed to air during autumn... or so I think. Based off a light novel series, Seitokai no Ichizon is popular enough with the readers to garner its own manga spinoff, and now, an anime adaptation.

Having a single male representative in an otherwise all-female student council does provide plenty of potential for ecchi fanservice, but I have a feeling Seitokai no Ichizon is more likely to go along the lines of everyday life in school. I will be paying particular attention to the artwork and animation which appealled to me at first glance. Unfortunately, I am unable to provide further information, apart from the official website, which currently only states the cast for the various characters. Hopefully, more details will surface over the next couple of weeks.

The artwork is definitely appealing. That said, *places it on my fall anime watchlist* can't wait for this one. But for now I'll have to do with the current ones.

So I've just watched the first ep and... it was hilarious! Full of parodies, and gave off that Lucky Star-like feeling.

On the other hand, gg commented this show like this: “We thought Kampfer was the worst show we subbed. We were wrong. || Video quality is reflective of the anime quality.” (They released 70mb mkv file)

Yeah, gg has a pretty shitty attitude lately.

That's true, however it does seem that they're just ambitious. By the way there is a better quality video of their crappy quality video. I have the link to the site if you want to download it. However, the video is just...mediocre quality, but compared to the one they released, it should be considered as superior.

Meh, it's okay. I got some merge of hd raw and gg subs from animetake, so I'm fine. :)

Was going to watch it streamed online, but ended up only watching some minutes into the ep because of bad quality - I couldn't stand it. However, it seems it could pose some serious laughters in the future so I will check it out at a later date.

At least the first ep is really woth trying, so get into it. :)

Just got down watching this and I found it pretty decent. It could of went down hill fast but they managed to keep the story entertaining for a good while.

I think this will be my weeks fill of silliness.

Pretty amusing show, and I suppose they've established in show that there pretty much isn't going to be a plot.

*sigh* this anime doesn't seem like it's gonna go the way I thought it would.. It's already established that he likes her.. which makes it kinda no fun... I thought he was really going for a harem=(

Hm... first episode, alright. Looks like a fun fall anime season, and I'm still waiting for a few more ^_^

The first few minutes are even full of referrals. DB Evolution, Haruhi, Lucky Star... it's starting to end up a bit like Pani Poni with dozens of references, but WTH, I LIKE IT.

He makes a point to like ALL OF THEM. So I didn't really see any preferred treatment. I liked the first chapter of the manga adaptation better though; it's more outrageous.


If by "shitty attitude" you mean "they're behaving exactly as they always have" then yes.
