Higurashi no Naku Koro ni

I wanted to thank Jacob for imforming Fakku about this thriller anime, because it blows some of the others ive seen out of the water. Anyone else currently watching? I only watch the first 2 episodes so far, and i can say that these girls freak me out :shock:

watching the second season right now. I have the first 2 US dvd releases. Not sure if I should get the third or not since it's released by geneon.

How many episodes per season? This seemed like the average 24 episode anime to me.

Glad you are watching this show. EVERYONE should watch this show. It is currently my favorite anime but it could use less Takano flashbacks.

Tsujoi is referring to the second season. "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai" refers to the answer arcs of the story, while "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni" was the first season and focused on the question arcs.

Yeah I actually just remembered that silver haired girl that appeared, episode 18 is out!

You did not waste your money. Unless Geneon are going to be total asses and not sell their licenses, other companies will see what sold and pick up the popular ones. Hopefully it sold enough to get the noticed.

Also I am hoping that Higurashi can get enough attention to garner a translated version of the game.

The first season of this show is very good... though you spend most of it wondering what the helling is going on... The second season s getting really good because they are finally starting ot put all the pieces of the puzzle together now so things are getting even more messed up as you realized what is actually going on in the series.. can't wait to see how they rap things up for this series...

and ya.. i hate it when companies just stop doing a show.. still made about there not going to be a 3rd season of TCR

The first four episodes of the first season were a masterpiece.

They freaked me out so much and left me in so much suspence that I finished the whole first season in one setting. All teh other arcs, though being good and really touching, just were not as gooda s the first four episodes.

Kai has been good so far for story devellopment, a very diffrent take but also very good. I'm looking forward to the next episodes.

Too bad Hauu~ is a little slow right now.

My favorite arc so far is from kai when they all start to remember. I just cant wait to see that nurse bitch get whats coming to her. Keichi is now one of the most manly dudes I know, but I was kinda pissed that he went down with one bullet to the chest.
