Death Note

Is going to be on adult swim tonight! (instead of new episode of Bleach tough :cry: )

Ew. That sucks. I've seen the all of the Death note series and...

Adult swim has messed up on that choice.

I like how Light teaches everyone how to swim at the end.

Well every has their own opinion,i personally loved the manga and and the show. the dub is good,but i still hope they'll show new Bleach

I loved the Death Note manga. Occasionally I start reading a something and I am unable to stop until there is nothing else to read. This was one of those titles.

I enjoyed the anime at first but in my opinion knowing the ending of a series like this makes it hard to go back and still enjoy it. And in my opinion it ended at Chapter... 59? :D

But I am excited that it made it to American television.

i feel like burning Adult Swim too the ground because of that crappy Dub

Heh, I really enjoyed the first story arc my self, the second arc seemed to fall short but it came back for a pretty good ending.

Just started watching this. It seems interesting, but give it one month, two months tops, and it will be down there in American Anime Hell with Naruto, Bleach, and the first cycle of Inuyasha.

It was better then I thought it was gonna be like, Ryuk's voice should've been more demonic like.

I really enjoyed the anime, I just finished it, and manga isn't really my thing. I do agree though that it should have just been Light and L, Near and Mello weren't nearly as compelling characters.

I enjoyed the anime series while having been ignorant of the ending. I thought it was good at the very least even if a little bogged down. The second arc started slow and kept rather dull in comparison to the first though.

I read the manga, and thought that it was one of the best. When I heard the anime was coming out, to tell the truth, I thought it would be bad. Boy was I wrong, my cousin showed me the first few episodes and I loved it.

The manga was great, the anime was pretty good, I was surprised they did it so well (watched it in Japanese with English subs). Haven't gotten around to watching it in English yet, but with Ryuk as Vegeta it must be worth a watch. The series should have ended earlier than it did, maybe the author wanted to make some sort of point on where he stands.

Live-action was so-so.

Concur'd. It probably should have ended when L died. It simply went downhill from there. Though I suppose the ending was pretty good.

This was a great serious... well up until the part when L died at least.. then it started to lose momentum... the ending sucked though.. very anticlimactic.. the manga ending was better than the anime ending though. I thought it fit better... still...as said it was a good show with a really good plot line... I quite enjoyed it...

I thought it was pretty great. I feel jealous of Light though - if I'd gotten 100% like he had in final exams I could've gotten into a better university... too bad I was 4% short :(
