zoro now has the voice of piccolo from dragonball z
ussop has the voice of krillin from dragonball z
chopper has the voice of chaozu from dragonball z (Tien's best friend, he's small and looks like a doll)
the rest of the luffy crew have familiar voices but i cant remember who they sound like
i mean the voices they had for one piece were great, why'd they change em?

If I recall this correctly, Funimation now has the rights to One Piece, and are dubbing the latest episodes. The ones that used to do the dubbing were 4Kids, so the show just changed hands like with Pokemon.

I guess you're talking about the dub, I don't really know much about it, but in case you were interested, (edit- in the japanese version) Luffy's voice is done by the same guy that did Kuririn and Yajirobe in dragon ball/z/gt along with a bunch of other stuff and Usopp's is by the same guy that did L from death note, Inuyasha, Ryu in breath of fire 3-5 as well as some hentai characters.

I think japanese dub is better than English dub. I saw one piece in English dub till Vivi part and then they never show again in TV. I like Ussop in Japenese dub better than in English, it is more funny in a way.

Nouta, are you saying Richard Cox does in fact do Ussop or are you asking if he does? Cause if it's Krillin's VA then it's definitely not him.

It's not Richard Cox, he's voiced by Sonny Strait, who in fact did do Krillian as well as Maes Hughes. He's quite a good actor imo.
Also, to the OP, you seemed to like the 4kids voices better... May I ask what mental illness you suffer from? Sanji sounded like a retarded Rodney Dangerfield. The FUNi voices are much better. <3 FUNi dubs.

I agree saying watching japanese dub(what is dub?) is better, I think it feels more real. I don't know why, but I think japanese's people are very good in changing their tone giving fluctuation. Japanese dub rules!!

My fault, I meant to say those were with regards to the original(japanese) voice actors. Sorry for the confusion, I edited my post to fix it now.

guys, do try out the original japanese dub anime. My chinese is not very good but I still watch anime with japanese dub and chinese sub, its really a lot better I think? ha

I totally agree with you there. American dubs seem to go out of their way to slaughter a perfectly good anime. If you want good voice acting watch the original jap ver. with subs of your prefered language.
Regardless, I think One Piece is funnier in the jap version(e.g. Luffy's interactions with every single person. roflmao)
