Great Teacher Onizuka

Well I'm on ep 16 atm and I'm really liking the show so far.
The way he punished his students is fuckin epic lol what do you Fakku guys think?

I think you're better off reading the manga and watching the Live-action series. The anime is nothing but the manga animated, and the manga goes much deeper into the story.

Show's good, manga's better and both are pretty much legendary. Too bad the art of the anime didn't age too gracefully.

Onizuka is one of my favorite anime/manga characters. I want to watch the series again after I finish the manga.

Like g-money said, you should check out the live action series and movie as well. It's not too long, and it wasn't bad, I really enjoyed it.

Read the manga, in the anime, Onizuka has a squeaky voice.

The anime for Onizuka is great. Definitely a great, must-see show.

If you want to read the manga, that's great too, but don't avoid the anime.
It was a pretty long series. Hard to say it ended too early.

In other words:

Watch the Anime, THEN read the Manga.
