Blood+

Just finished watching all the episodes. It has dull moments but is pretty top notch overall. The ending - don't worry, no spoilers - kind of leaves an opening for a sequel. Have there been any discussions/rumors of one?

I was kind of disappointed with the ending. Mostly cause I'm a Haji fan and I was hoping for more of a conclusion for him. As for the anime itself, I would agree pretty good. I know the series was based off the movie Blood last vampire. You might wanna check it out if you haven't already.

For Some reason I never got into this one. I don't know if crappy english dubs had anything to do with this one, but I just never caught on. :-(

The English dubs ruin it for me. If you can't get into the dub
try the sub it does make a difference. I can't stand the English voices.
I'm a big fan of the show because I watched fansubs first
and the Japanese voices are really top notch.
Also I don't like how Diva is so strong, I think the difference in strength was a little much. But I think the main reason for the difference was because Diva drank people's blood like crazy but Saya refused to most of the time.

Maybe I'm just jaded enough to not care anymore, but the dub wasn't terrible. I've heard much worse. The series was pretty good, I enjoyed it overall.

I was disappointed in the whole series in general. They made Saya such a wuss. Also the action scenes were horrible, barely any at all. Each scene had only 3 REAL movements but in general teh whole scene would last 20 seconds at most.

The end to the anime lends itself to a sequel. Blood+ is a good anime that revolved around vampire LIKE creatures. I was a bit disappointed since everything in the show moved on so quickly. Saya went from scared teenager in one epsidoe to bad-ass(Or emo I can't really say since I don't believe in emo) by the next episode. I don't look forward to new episodes but if there were new episodes to Blood+(Blood++?) I would give it a shot.

This wasn't exactly the greatest show, but it isn't the worst either. I enjoyed watching it, but I do admit it could've been better.
I had to switch from subs to dubs because I couldn't find the right videos, but I thought the dub was pretty well done. It wasn't particularly bad or anything, but it didn't degrade the show one bit.

This has to be one of the more underrated anime, good story, good characters +development, an excellent ending. Not the greatest, but definitely good

This anime holds a special place in my heart as it was one of the first ones I downloaded and watched.
The reason Diva is so strong is because she drinks blood freely whereas Saya only drinks enough to survive.
Why would you bash an anime just cos the dubs fail. Every single dubbed anime fails no exceptions, if anything you should be bashing yourself for watching this dubbed...

Really, really enjoyed it.
A bit too americanized and forcing the 'normal girl with issues' concept on Saya but it still pulled it's weight in the end.
Charging Mark Mancina and Hans Zimmer with the music was a hit-or-miss idea but it hit bullseye for me. Also some of the best OPs/EDs I ever saw with the 2nd OP (Seasons Call) being simply brilliant.
Top notch audio-visual quality overall.
Absolutely loved Diva with her cruel yet playful nature. Mao was another favorite of mine but (regrettably) the anime seriously neglected her in the later parts. Haji seemed cool in the early eps but you cannot stay like this through 50 episodes without eventually becoming boring.
