I haven't seen this show in a few months but I really enjoyed although the ending kind of made me cry.

Being a fan of the original comic, I can't help but seethe a little at what they did to the blade itself. Seriously, they turned it into some kind of freaky parasite instead of the symbiotic weapon it originally was. And they say this is supposed to be the same blade as in the comics? Bullshit. The manga's even worse, giving the blade supposedly demonic origins. At least Masane was an awesome character; few anime I've seen ever made me cry, but Witchblade is one of those anime, especially as the end closes in and it begins to become apparent that Masane's fate is sealed...

At first I didn't want to watch the anime Witchblade, learning it was based off of an american comic. I'm not into comic books, sadly.
But the first episode I seen of the anime Witchblade was episode 7 with Shiori where she went crazy in the head due to her cloneblade and went seeking out pleasure I was like OMFG!!!!
Now I love the anime. :D

Hated it. This is one of those animes that inspire people to do a lazy ass job in animating combat scenes.

I just finished this anime yesterday. And I loved it.
Witchblade anime > original witchblade.
I didn't like where they took Misane and Takayama with their relationship.
Especially when Takayama and Reina had something in the past.
It just seemed a little messed up to me.
