So, whose enjoying the second season?

I found the American arc pretty funny.

I love Genshiken. I'm not completely caught up on the 2nd season of the show but I have read most of it.

Finished the first season and not gotten very far with the second, But I am loving the show and gonna catch up over the Christmas break.

Whoa! they sure have shrunk in this series, they are tiny people now O.o lol (yeah weird perspective)...
though I have never seen it before so they may just be really tiny like plum/kotoko from chobits :(

I wish that they had introduced Ogiue in the beginning of the show. Even though I already knew who she was I know a lot of others didn't so that kind of disappointed me.

I loved the first season and the second season is building quite well, it was sad to see some of the graduating students leave, but that's what happens ^_^

GAAAA! Genshiken is so great but why the hell they gotta make it so short?!?! sheesh another 12 episode Genshiken :cry: and i really wanted to see the relationship of Ogiue and Sasahara develop a little more

I'm liking the new season, although couldn't they find an american to play an actual american in genshiken. The engrish kind of got on my nerves

The engrish was a big turnoff. If it wasn't for the additional tits and comedy in the series I would have stopped

I've watched most of the first season (have the whole thing in boxed set, but not a lot of time for viewing) and its pretty good. Not as good as the manga, but enjoyable. Actually, I kind of dislike the animation itself. The quality isn't very good as far as I've seen.

The second season is much more enjoyable so far, animation is much improved, and I enjoy the VA's more. Also I like the story more now that they've gotten around to including more of the characters.

The manga just wrapped up too. What do you guys think of the ending?

who wouldnt love genshiken? i got hooked to it when i read the first volume and bought the first season though i didnt try to buy the second since the manga is much more complete

I'll be honest - it lost my attention within the first episode. I tried forcing myself for two more episodes... then deleted it. Too boring in my opinion.

Honestly, it was boring at the start but it gets better along the way..
It's a really FUN series about Otakus and I recommend others to watch it..and read the manga too!
