Metro 2033

Is anybody else going to be picking up Metro 2033 for the Xbox 360 or PS3 on March 16?

it doesn't have ps3 for platform, only xbox 360 and pc...and yes i'm going to pick it up when it's on sale...it looks similar to the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series...8)

I hope it will be a worthy succesor of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series (finally girls in there!! :-D)

Lol didnt know it wasnt coming out on the PS3, I dont really know what to expect, ive never played the S.T.A.L.K.E.R series

Ive read reviews on it and it looks like its going to be a good game. Trying to find S.T.A.L.K.E.R tho

I'm definitely gonna pick this game up. I managed to read the Russian copy of the book(translating is a bitch) and I'm really hoping the game stays close to the story. One feature on the game I find interesting is the option to play the game with the original Russian dialogue and subtitles instead of listening to the English dub.

The same was in Stalker.. Polish version had lektor with cool voice that suited there well (original russian voices + lektor), or if someone wanted english dubbing, that was avilable...

at first I had my doubts but after reading various reviews it has raised to my "must buy" list.

Just got the game and played it for a few hours. Freakin amazing game! I heard from an early review that the shooting was supposed to be troublesome, but I never had any problems with it. The closest thing to bad shooting was me running out of ammo as a mob of hungry mutants lined up to gnaw on my gasmask wearing face. I honestly believe that this game has the potential to be a big hit, if not GOTY.

Have you guys had trouble with getting the gas mask off? it wont let me remove mine. Really starting to piss me off because it makes it impossible to play when it has cracks in it.

maybe because you're in an area where the mask is required to proceed?

I don't know. Going to get it tommorow.
