This is a rather unique anime in the sense while there is some action in it, the main focus of it is to question the human condition, and the fate of our world. It also proposes that all living organisims desire to live on no matter what (however they way it this is potrayed in the series is rather exaggerated.)

I started to watch it and i thought it was okay but i dropped it after like 8 episodes, mostly because it just didn't really appeal to me. I don't really remember much from it but i think that it was a slow anime.

I'll agree its a little slow, but if you make it past that, the end is pretty good

I'm sorry but about halfway through the first episode I started to get bored and irritated with the series. It progressed too slowly and, I suppose in a way it practically threw down all of its cards on the table (probably just setting up for the main plot). I guess it's the script I don't like, it's very dry and well boring.

Wow giving up after half an episode, with that statement you can just leave out the rest of your opinion, you have none.
I enjoyed the series, nothing legendary however it was solid. I do pull out my dvd's now and then to enjoy this series.

I cried hard at the ending, Seems slow but the climax is amazing.... Haha see what i did there?! no but seriously it's really good stuff.
