Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle

Well, after spending 10 minutes searching the master list, I was only able to find one thread for Tsubasa, and it was only for the for the crossover OAD with xxxHOLiC, so if there is already a topic for the actual series, I couldn't find it.
Anyways, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle (TRC) begins in a place called 'Clow Country' (CCS reference) where a young man named Syaoran (pronounced Showron) lives alone, and works as an archiologist. However, he is childhood friends with the princess, Sakura.
In the first episode, Sakura's memories are scattered across dimensions in the form of feathers, and Syaoran is sent with Sakura to get them back. To do this, they are sent to Yuuko, the Dimensional Witch.
Once there, they meet fellow dimensional travelers, Fay D. Flourite (spellings of his name vary) and Kurogane.
Yuuko tells them that they must journey together, and to do so, they must give up their most precious possession as compensation.
Fay gives up a tattoo on his back, and Kurogane gives up his sword, however Syaoran has no material possessions with enough value to him to give, so Yuuko says the only way she can send him, is to take away his "relationship" with Sakura, meaning that even if Sakura gets her memories back, she won't remember him.
She then sends them on a journey that spans many worlds, in order save Sakura.

I have never tried watching tsubasa due to the fact that it used familiar characters in a different story. But, after searching endlessly for something I can download and bring with me on my psp for my trip to Quebec, I've gone with it. I HAVE heard many good things about it, so I hope I won't be dissapointed tomorrow (start of my trip)
Oh, and considering that there's no DEFINITE thread on TRC, it'll been added to the list, so don't panic if you suddenly see the list is gone again.

Well, just so you know, half way through ep 42, they stop following the manga, so instead of finishing the anime (unless you want a filler ending) go to the OVA Tokyo Revelations

I actually finished this anime only a month ago, I didn't consider watching it before because I thought it would ruin CCS for me. lol
I only watched this because I got hooked on XXXholic, and fortunately this anime didn't disapoint.
