Yes, it's real. Yoda will be on the Xbox 360 version exclusively and Darth Vader will be on PS3. If you had played Soul Calibur II they did the same thing. Link on the GameCube, Heihachi Mishima on the PS2, and Spawn on the Xbox.

Even though the game isn't going to be released for a few more days, my friend got a copy of it for PS3. I was planning on waiting for a while until the price went down to buy it, but I'm seriously thinking about getting it comes out. I only played it for a little while, but its fucking great and the character creation is amazing.

That's good news. I've got a reservation for it so I'm getting it when it comes out. It's always been a good series and it's yet to seriously disappoint me.

todays the day (for the majority of us) ladies and gentlemen! i cant wait to drop eb later today and pick up my copy, im ecstatic to start playing. one thing i cant help but noting: how horrible the english voice casting has become. it was absolutely FLAWLESS in two, they shouldnt have fixed what wasnt broken. after that it went downhill, im almost positive ill be doing the same with four as i did with three and change the voices to japanese...

yours truly will be investing in the ps3 version. out of the split guest characters i think we got the better hand, id prefer a sith lord over an acrobatic monkey anyday. lol

Yeah as an owner of all the consoles I decided to get it on the ps3 for Vader. It's kinda weird that my choice of which console I buy a game for lies solely in the question of who the random guest character it comes with is.

Bur for some reason I find the guest artists characters more interesting that the ones from the Star Wars universe. I guess the NOOOOOOOOOO, ©Darth Vader killed him in my books. It's not the same excitement I felt when SC2 was released for the Gamecube.

They say Vader may be coming as downloadable content for the 360 version, so if you wanted both that's the system you should get the game for.

Edit: I'm not sure if I'm going to get it. After 2 they seemed to have gone down hill. 1 was great (I was just playing it on the Dreamcast yesterday, actually.) and 2 was awesome (I mean.. it had Link in it.), but 3 was kind of meh.

Even though I don't own a next-generation console, I look forward to playing the game at my friend's place, because I am curious about the new characters, especially the one designed by Oh!Great, the artist of Tenjo Tenge and Air Gear.

I don't play fighting games, but a friend of mine said 2 and 3 blew.

get me and my brother and a couple of our drunk friends together and we can play that shit all night long until we pass out from forcing the winner to drink a beer. It's the only way it can be played fair.

Soulcaliber 4 has actually been redone pretty well, the characters are all pretty balanced and the modes (other than versus) are actually fun this time around.

i highly, highly doubt it, namco isnt one for contradicting exclusive content. i did however get a card with a promotion code when i purchased the premium edition, if 360 premiums get vader then its possible ps3 gets yoda. i doubt theyll do just one trade off though.
