Anyone excited about this as much as I am?
Manga and Description
Rito is a high-school boy who just can't confess to the girl of his dreams, Haruna-chan. One day when coming home and sulking in the bath-tub a mysterious, and barely clothed girl, appears out of nowhere. Her name is Lala and she comes from another planet...
Character and Seiyuu Lineup
I was hoping that Yuki Rito and Lala would be voiced by Hoshi Souichiro and Horie Yui respectively.[/h]

Yeah, I'm quite excited as you are.
@jonsmith: your hope of Souichiro Hoshi as Yuki Rito is rather not going to happen, I think Rito is too cute for his voice. He plays many gallant men: Kira Yamato, Son Goku, Fayt Leingod, Yukimura Sanada etc. For Horie Yui maybe they did not offer it to her and she's already going to play for Vampire Knight this year, and BTW the last time they acted together was Shining Tears X Wind, Souichiro as Souma Akizuki/Xero and Horie Yui as Touka Kureha. But I like the idea of them working together again, and THEY ARE in Vampire Knight.

I am definitely looking forward to "To Love Ru", mainly in support for one of mai waifus, Haruna Sairenji. :D There are some who are less than excited about the anime series of To Love Ru, since it is more or less a fanservice, ecchi kind of anime, without a in-depth storyline. Nonetheless, I am fan of such shows.
Currently awaiting the 7th and 8th volume of the manga to be translated into chinese. Go Haruna Go!

I am pretty excited about this one. Raze was telling me the manga was really good a few months ago, but I never got around to reading it.

This is on my must-watch list.
@ Jacob: You'll like the manga as long as you NEVER expect the plot to move forward. That way, when the plot actually moves somewhere, you'll be quite surprised. In other words, if you don't love the art style, it probably won't keep your attention.

Now that the anime is set to be broadcast in Japan on 3rd April 2008, here are some images to familiarize you with the girls, provided all of them appear in the 26 episode season. :D

From left to right (english names courtesy of wikipedia):
-Mikan (younger sister of male protagonist; loli)
-Yui (classmate)
-Rito (male protagonist)
-Lala (hot alien from another planet)
-Haruna (needs no introduction; mai waifu; Shinobu-lookalike)
-Yami (alien/assasin)
Photoshopped image of Ryouko Mikado (MILF school doctor, who is also an alien)

Far right: Run (gender changing alien)
And lastly, Saki TenjÅin (self-proclaimed? beauty queen)

Wonder how long it's gonna take to be shown with ENG. Subtitles.

I find it funny that the anime actually has more fanservice than the manga. Seriously, what were the writers thinking when they made the script for episode 2?!

To Love Ru is one of the more acclaimed fanservice titles these Spring. Its suggestive opening theme, zooming on various parts of the female body, should be an indication of its genre. :D

Episode 6 ... it's the first time I actually paid attention to the OP and ED and read the lyrics. Just like the manga, we get some pseudo-tentacle rape, and we also get to see Lala try her hardest to dissect Rito.

I watched episodes 7 and 8, and I see what might be a big problem with the series right now. The pacing of the episodes was horrible! Seeing Ren trying to be manly got boring the moment the fanservice stopped, the same could be said for the next episode. During the part where Yui is stalking following Yuki, things really slowed down.

Yami has appeared. Kawaiii neh.Yes indeed, but it's unfortunate that we don't get to see Zastin hit by the train. I really wanted to see that in motion.
