FABLE 2

Who is getting it and who is interested. Discuss.

I'm certainly interested, not sure about getting though as there are many games coming out in the nearish future I wish to purchase and I don't know what my budget will be like when it comes out. I had a lot of fun with fable and I knew it wouldn't do those crazy things they promised so I wasn't disappointed so I can't see myself not being able to like a second one, assuming they don't majorly fuck anything up.

It's definitely a game I plan on purchasing. The online co-op sounds like fun, and I had a blast with the original Fable back on the Xbox. The idea of having XBLA games that transfer currency to your Fable 2 character when you win seems interesting, but also a cheap method for Lionhead to make some extra cash.

It definitely is a cheap way but it works! This game looks pretty awesome.

I forgot to say, Peter Molyneux should be a tele-salesman. The guy can whore anything with passion, it's great. If you want to enjoy Fable 2, avoid watching his developer interviews so Peter doesn't get your expectations into orbit.

Basically divide Peter's info in half and you end up with the actual game. Yes it's good as always but nowhere near as revolutional as he is making you believe.
However it will sell alot in the states since it's not a jRPG like Blue Dragon or Lost Odyssey. Americans never seem to embrace the TBS approach of it.

HECKYES im going to get it. Although I played Fable a year after it came out I still get the urge to go back and play it every once in a while.

I know that when me and my mates get this, were just gonna go round each others worlds killing each others families. Can't wait ^^

Is there a set release date yet?

The latest I read was that It was going to be released in Autumn. The programmers have all finished the features of the game and are now just testing, polishing, and fixing bugs. At least, this is what gamespot says.

I'm sooooooo excited. My best friend and I are hoping that we can do co-op on the same box since we're living together right now.

I hope we don't get dissapointed like we did with Crackdown... stupid online co-op only :evil:

Ahh, yes, Fable 2. I most certainly will purchase this game. I'm almost giddy thinking about it. Of course, I am limiting my expectations, as you never know how well made a sequel will be compared to the first.

Well just an update:

Mine Xbox core just burnt my Halo3 while playing online. It was epic failure.

That Sucks.
I gotta ring up Microsoft and see if I can get a replacement HDD as the other one is busted (Thankfully, it's still in Warranty)

Peter Molyneux is the shit, I love Fable, and it looks kick ass. I'm pre-ordering a copy.
