No love for Kuroshitsuji II?

The other of only a pair of shows I'm (watching and) really liking this season, and none of it here? For shame, Garden, for shame! I thought, you of all people would take care of it--I guess not.

no love for fangirl fodder from me, at least
(jk, sure it's great, just didn't take the time to watch it.)

I got caught up with the first season around the 4th of July, and I must say that I'm quite glad that I did, because this season has been quite good. The rivalry between Alois and Ciel and Sebastian and Claude is fantastic. Haven't watched this week's episode yet, so I'll report back on that later.

Fricking great head-fake to start this second series. Including an opening song and video simply to further the ploy. Pretty epic on thier part.
My big problem is that the first season had THE perfect ending. There are some ways they could have moved on to do this second season, like maybe the demon simply got bored and decided he wanted to have the kid enjoy himself a bit more.. OR, maybe for his stopping renegade angel's, god stepped in and stopped the eating of his soul, or atleast post-poned it. Heck, they even could have had the fiance chick give up her own soul in order to bring him back and live happily together for awhile. There are so many BETTER ways to do it than how they did, that its almost boggling. I am at the point now where I will just pretend, after watching teh final episodes, that this second season never existed.

The second season just finished at episode 12. All I can say is wow, what an epic ending as I never saw that coming. It's probably true that the anime series diverged quite a lot in the second season, but I enjoyed it all the same. I kinda feel sorry for Sebastian who went through the hoops only to have Ciel's soul denied. Great series, Kuroshitsuji, and I enjoyed watching every episode.

I gotta be honest, I've been avoiding this series because well I pretty much thought it was yaoi genre ish or shoujo ish going for the boys love thingy...
I abhor such subjects and thus why I avoided it. However it seems I was quite wrong as some users just said it wasn't remotely homo. I'll give it a shot when I have the time.

Well, if you watch season 1, there's an episode that Sebastian humped this girl to get information.
and the Homo is only limited to Old pedophile men, and that's like just limited too. And a certain male character that openly loves Sebastian which provides comedic relieve. lol
Kuroshitsuji is good at telling you emotion triggering stories and all the heart "chaos".

I definitely thought that this season was better than the first, and it will be sad to see Kuroshitsuji go, but at least we have the OVA to look forward to.

Ok I love the series, hate the ending, if that makes any sense.

Hi, I am currently waiting for the next manga chapter and I've been debating with myself if I should watch the anime or not.
I know that when Manga is transformed into anime there would be some scenes that are added or deleted, anyway I would just like to know if the anime version of Kuroshitsuji is good and how much does it deviate from the manga.
I Hope to hear your opinion.

I absolutely loved Kuroshitsuji II. Alois is such a intriguing and entertaining character and the series had a bitter sweetness to it in my eyes

In an overall essence, second season is basically a fan-service season for Kuroshitsuji.
The flow was somewhat REALLY awkward but it does make sense if you conenct the dots from the first season to the second. It completely went off in the direction that made it obvious that the studio was aiming for the young women audience.
Overall, if you enjoy good anime for the story, and animation and not for giggles of fanmade couplings in this show(I would name some but it's just too ridiculous for me to even name them), don't watch the second season.

Thanks, I just saved myself from a huge disappointment... Atleast Hellsing was good even though it was only 13 episodes... didn't watch the OVA it sucked by then...

Well, I like the somber theme of the episodes since I was also reading the manga at the same time. when I finished the anime and started with the OVA it was different....
the first OVA was when she turned into a vampire it turned into some sort of comedy in her mind, when she was being chased my skeleton zombies... didn't watched it after that. it felt kinda wrong... So I just finished the Manga, and worshiped the memory of Alucard in my mind.
