It's a novel released in 1998.
Well, I'm pretty much waiting for their new game "Mahotsukai no Yoru" (A Magician's Night) It's about the Aozaki Witch Family, with Aozaki Aoko(Tsukihime) as the center of the story. This one is even older than Tsukihime, but they decide to release it after.

Mahoutsukai no Yoru was never released publicly, but I guess in some specialist stores in Japan, they might have supplied it. Makes sense really as Nasu Kinoko did not really take off as TYPE-MOON until Tsukihime came out.
Apparently Girl's Work isn't going to be Nasu's and/or Takeshi Takuchi's work either. Which is a good thing because if TYPE-MOON milks the Fate franchise as much as they could, its going to drop. I mean, FSN as good as it is has other dating sims to compete with. Tech-Gian character rankings where Kenshin (Sengoku Rance) topped Saber off from the No.1 rank.
Another thing that Mahoutsukai no Yoru has that makes it more interesting is the artist who is in charge of character designs is the guy who does DDD. It's a fresh new look for TYPE-MOON games. However the biggest things that I am looking forward to most are: Tsukihime remake and Fate Unlimited Codecs.
Back on topic however, Kara no Kyoukai is very good, but it isn't something that a new person could jump into. You would need a rudimentary understanding about the Tsukihime universe and the narrative, like Nasu Kinoko's style is odd. That being said, it's quite faithful to the start of the novel and I can't want for the next 6 to come.

well, i just watched it, and its pretty darn good. though alot of things were left unexplained, i guess they're oging to do that with the next 2 movies 8)

I read in a forum somewhere that they might include a scenario for Sacchin which would connect Tsukihime from Melty Blood. No more "Isn't it sad, Sacchin?" :D
BTW, I can't wait for the 2nd episode!!! Only a few more days to go!

Fate/Unlimited Codecs is made for the arcade system, only hope of playing it, you but the machine from Japan, or just go to Japan to play the game. :?
