Akumetsu

Nagasawa Shiina was just your average 3rd year high schooler when her parents' company went bankrupt. In order to pay the bills, her family sells her into prostitution. At her first job, a mysterious masked man crashes the party...and it's someone she knows...
Akumetsu is the story of Hazama Shou, who defends his own view of justice in a vigilante manner while wearing a mask and calling himself Akumetsu.
It's so crazy that this is an adult, political, and morbid manga and it still brings the lulz.

Seriously, this scene was the shit.

I've been reading this for a long time, and I do love akumetsu, but it's hard to get into sometimes. Especially lately. I mean, yay, I'm learning alot about japanese political corruption, more than I ever really wanted or needed to know, which is somewhat interesting. Still, sometimes I wish they would get back to the action rather than give me lengthy budget spending explanations. But yeah, I know, can't exactly kill someone without an explanation...

I'm totally digging this seris, explanations and all since I'm majoring in the business sector. I heard that the mangaka had to prematurely stop the seris at volume 18, but I haven't finished reading it all, so I'm not sure what to expect, a rushed ending, or an abrupt ending. (Or translations haven't finished scanlating.)

Ive read the first 160 chapters all i one night, this was one of the most end of your seat manga expereience ever since GTO. I recommend anyone who never read this top read it.
this manga teches me to defeat corruption in the government, you must have a really big bomb to blow em up to pieces.

If I had to recommend another character for the GARfest, Akumetsu would be it - he's so damn GAR, being able to change politics of a nation with his l337 skillz.

I just found this manga too hard to follow, I wont spoil it all but it just seems too hard to get my mind around. Dont get me wrong I like the politics and the gore is magnificent, but the actual story behind the main character is so bloody complicated it ruins it for me. I would suggest you read it first and then form your opinion but I will advise you to pay serious attention, cause I apparently didn't XD

when they talk about his past, it also intertwines with the book that his friend made. So yeah, that part is confusing. But i just read it every week to see some guy get owned lulz.

...and the series finally comes to a close.
Can't say I enjoyed the ending all that much, not to say I didn't enjoy the ending. I just feel as if they had to find some half-assed way to end it which really broke away from the entire original style the manga had presented up to then.
Regardless, was a great manga with a questionable end.

Well, Akumetsu WAS cancelled. So the mangaka immediately skipped to a week before the said deadline and made a rushed ending. Not that i'm complaining, since the ending pretty much works for me
