Shinrei Tantei Yakumo
0
In order to help a friend possessed by a spirit, Ozawa Haruka knocks on the door of her university's movie research association. There she meets Saitou Yakumo, a rude, unkempt young man with a red left eye, who is said to have spiritual powers. At first Haruka is skeptical, but she comes to believe him when he conveys messages from her older sister, who died when she was a child. Together, they work to shed light on the terrifying events happening at their university. But this is only the prologue of what's to come...

You should read the manga.Didn't know about the manga (ofc I assumed there was one) but in my case I just saw something new, dl'd it watching and was interested in the overall story and presentation. Currently I could care less about the manga, I have too many mangas that I haven't read that I need to so I am just gonna enjoy the anime regardless of whether it strays vastly from the manga.
I like the art for 1, the theme it self is something I don't normal watch, but I am trying new things so for now I'll be enjoying this series much.

Feels a little pretentious really with the starting line 'the essence of life bla bla bla' and it was kinda rushed too. I just like the cool one red-eyed protag and its artstyle.

i caught the second episode today...a very good episode. man little children ghost spirits is something you don't mess with, ha yakumo still as rude as last episode. this episode feels like i'm watching a movie, i like that saying "what do you think the spirts of the dead are?", "they're not monsters or demons..they used to be human just like you or me". Yakumo kind of reminds me of L in a way for some reason, two shrines honoring a fox god? thats a bit unusual. um to what i said earlier its a teenager it seems not a child, yakumo's uncle and the red string of fate? oh boy another fate person...hm so yakumo live at a temple understandable why he wants to get away. all in all a very good episode...definetely looking forward to more.

I'm so surprised that there are so many Americans like to watch Japanese anime except we chineseI'd watch American cartoons but they are just... awful. It's like... something impossible to describe. Cartoons have gotten REALLY terrible in America. The ones that are barely passable as decent are drawn by Japanese anyways lol.
