Too many hours i've played on that game. Did try out for a few tournament with some friends, Our best was 5th place like a year ago in one of the official Dota tourney.
I haven't played lately, but i'm using G-Arena to play that game since its very known worldwide for having very serious Dota players, Koreans are fucking insane at that game i tell you that. I've had a 4 hours match again one of them teams. We lost lol

well in the philippines it was famous for awhile but i never got into coz they took the unreal tournament kill streak shout outs. "HOLY SHIT!"

That has to be Basshunter, swedish crap techno going mainstream. It was disgusting to hear every single teen-hipster was singing along with no understanding of the meaning of the text. Good thing about hipsters thought, is that they seem to have forgotten all about it now.

I may be wrong, but whenever the term DOTA is mentioned, I keep thinking that it is the main reason why Warcraft 3 (and its expansion) is still being played these days.
I haven't played it for quite some time, and I doubt I will do so in the near future. Back when I was playing it, Aegis of the Immortal is still a purchas-able item; I heard it is no longer the case?

From those screenshots it looks like they redesigned a lot of the terrain, I haven't played that game in a long while. Was addicted to it for a few months until I toasted the fan on my laptop by playing too much. Didn't help that the fan was crap.

I still play this game everyday xD, im either on Bnet or Garena, but that depends whether or not im playing with my family.PM me if you ever wanna play :D

I haven't played this game before but it looks pretty epic. I mostly stick to TD type games and DotA type games... which I guess is basically every game?

I play DoTA on BNet waaaaaay too much =(. I try to be a good teammate, but when people keep doin the same stupid shit over and over again despite my warnings and advice, I turn into an evil flame monster.

Few play other games besides DotA (Defense,RPG and shitty types)

I(and most of my friends) found that DotA relies too much on getting the best items...theres really no skill involved, (haven't played in about 1.5 years so forgotten all the item names) but seriously, just get a group to go kill Rosha get the best items and pewpew there goes the other team.
I found another game, Eve of the Apocalypse that I feel is much better. The game is more based on your heros level and skill selection. Also mass teamwork works amazingly. The item system is pretty decent, they give you I think 3 or 4 different types of items(gloves, orbs, mantles, maybe something else) then you can upgrade them up to 6 times. You can fill empty spots with NPCs who are actually decent(run when theyre low on health, chase you if your low, teamup to kill you, etc...) There are gold mines and little town nodes which you have to defend/cap and can hire mercenaries from and build towers and blahblahblah...overall...Theres a crap load of stuff to do in it. And it's great for solo play
