SAINTS ROW 3!!!
0
THQ has announced Saints Row 3, which isn't called Saints Row 3 at all. In fact, it's now called Saints Row: The Third, and in this one, you're the king. Or rather you're the big boss of the titular organised crime gang, The Saints, meaning that you'll get all of the advantages that go with being an elite criminal at the top of the food chain.
So, like Scarface, first you'll get the money, then you'll get the power, then you'll get the women. Except you won't need to earn those things in Volition's sequel. You'll already have access to the expensive cars, big houses, private jets, champagne on ice and as many ladies as you can handle.
"Saints Row: The Third puts you on top of the world, right at the beginning of the game, with all the perks that go along with being the head of an elite criminal organisation," said Danny Bilson, Head of Core Games at THQ. "There's no delivering pizza, no shuttling family members about in a long series of taxi missions. Instead, you take all the power of the Third Street Saints and you take the world by storm."
Saints Row: The Third returns to Stilwater once again, but the Saints now run the city uncontested. That is until rival gang, The Syndicate sets its sights upon The Saints, provoking an all out gang war, as they attempt to muscle their way into taking all of your turf.
Saints Row: The Third is pencilled in for a holiday 2011 release.

i personally excited about this game. the first one was good the second even better and i really wanna know about the 3rd one. rockstar better come out with another grand theft auto quick because they might just start losing fans to THQ, being that GTA:4 has no replay value after finihing the story

Saints Row 1 & 2 were boring in all honesty.I don't think I'd be picking this up.
You've apparently never jacked a personal jet and purposefully crashed it into a heavy traffic area, jumping out at the last minute and landing on the ground without a scratch on you.

i hope they can make this one more realistic, because i remember from the first you merly get git by a car then your guy flys about 20 miles away in a star pattern. the story mode is gay i feels like some fake wanna be gangster shit yu know the game has to be made by the whitest people on earth(wiggers). but i like it though there is so much to do in saints row unlike grandtheftauto 4 after finishing the story no much to do. but on sr you can fly planes ,sky dive alot og activites cant wait ima make another tifa lockhart character like i did on SR 2.

I don't play Saints Row for realism. That's boring. But hosing down buildings and people on the street with sewage from a septic truck? That's hilarious.

I did that in San Andreas, but perhaps I'll give SR 3 a chance.

The GTA games are good, I won't deny that. But Saints Row brings something that the GTA games have been lacking recently (especially GTA4), wacky fun. I think Yahtzee best explained why Saints Row 2 is such a great game.

GTA SA is still the pinnacle of the series. Gta4 is still my personal biggest letdown this current generation of consoles. I'll play SA over gta4 any day.

I'd take crazy shit over realism any day.By realism, it meant photo-realism, not realism in gameplay.

[size=12]I got my GameInformer issue and saw it on the cover. I always loved this series, like the other people said, this is a break from realism. Honestly, the shit that happens to you in this game just makes you laugh. [/h]
