Just picked up Level 1 and 2 at BestBuy, being a big DMC fan I am, I fucking love it!
Animation is beautiful, voice acting matches the characters perfect! Dante is still as badass as ever!
Amazing! A great item for my DMC collection! :D

I mean... if you like pure violence and you are a fan of DMC this was awesome. If you don't even know wtf DMC is... this is just gonna boggle your mind and make you shout to the heavens "THIS IS GARBAGE!" 12 Episodes, all free on torrent. I don't know if it's in English torrent yet... but hey it's free.

No way to tell if it was after 2 (but we like to pretend 2 never happened) Story wasnt all that amazing but it was good. The gunplay was good. Rebellion was used like a 1-hit kill plot device but who cares about that. Dante is awsome, Trish and Lady are even hotter in anime(though that might not apply to thier DMC4 counter-part)

This is the order from beginning to end (well for now...): Devil May Cry 3, Devil May Cry, Devil May Cry the Animation, Devil May Cry 4, and finally Devil May Cry 2.

Shadow: that's right, my man! Dante IS awesome! Rebellion is just fucking sick.... who Could stand up to that? Honestly?
Afroman: Indeed that is the order. Many hated DMC2, but I thought it was great.
Also, DMC Animation Level 3 comes out on DVD in English on the 15th of this month.

I watched it and enjoyed it. But I felt they got Dante's character all wrong. In the games he's sarcastic and loud. In the anime he's quiet and gloomy. Still really cool though. I just think it would have been better if he was like he was in the games. COME ON BABES, LET'S ROCK!

I thought he was badass. His voice actor does Dante in DMC4. :D Or so I think... they do sound very alike. I love how Dantes voice actor exhails every time he says something. It's hard to do. Lol.

Lol.The dude's name is Reuben Langdon and he's done Dante's voice since DMC 3. He's the only member of the cast of the actual game(s) to appear in the anime and under the name Justin Cause at that. And it takes place somewhere between DMC 1 and DMC 4, only there's somethin confusing. Trish is with Dante by the end of DMC and she was still with him in DMC 4, but they had gone thier seprate ways in the anime (btw tha DMC continuety goes: 3, 1, 4, 2, incase ya didn't know).
Personally I think the anime is so so, it seems a little to sterytypical action anime-ish and less DMC-ish, with the annoying little girl, the old agent, the lack of the hero's cash, and all. None of that was in the games, and it just kinda messes up the DMC feel of things. However I liked the DMC manga, had no problems with that.

the series was a bit short, they could've extended the storyline a bit longer and still make it entertaining though.

Yeah, Justin Cause.... why use that name, though? His voice the bomb in DMC3!
