[Anime] Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai

After performing a search on the site, I realized that the manga and light novel title "Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai" is quite popular among Fakku members. In addition, quite a few hentai doujinshis based on this particular title have been released.

In any case, fans of "Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai" should rejoice! An anime adaptation is currently in production, based on information I obtained off the latest issue of Megami magazine. Hasegawa Kodaka, the male protagonist, has difficulty making friends in school due to his looks. As fate would have it, he meets Mikazuki Yozora, a female who is socially awkward. They then start a club and its goal is to make friends with others. Throwing the female school idol, Kashiwazaki Sena, into the fray, will a love triangle develop?

I'm very excited for this. The manga's been incredibly funny and I think the premise will definitely work in animated form.

Guess pity on me, since I never heard of this series. Although, looking forward to the Anime version and gives me some time to see what the manga has to offer at least.

The light novel is currently being translated on Baka-Tsuki. The novel translation is currently 2 chapters ahead of the manga, assuming that the manga follows the chapter order of the novel, which it seems to be doing.

Looking forward for the anime as i just read all of the newest chapter. Looking forward for "Meat".. uups Sena and Kobata fighting each other lol.(And once again the story will be about Childhood friend vs school idol lol.)

Yes! Considering how many of "these types" of stories I like, I must be a sucker for them.

xD love this series its hilarious. I started reading this due to both the outline of it and because i was playing monster hunter on the psp with one of my friends so we both lol'd with that part, definitely going to be fun to watch

I've been looking at this series for the past few months now and it really sparked my interests. I'm definitely going to watch this.

Heh. Judging a manga on its first chapter is even worse than judging an anime on its first episode. Even more so when the entire cast isn't even present in said chapter. That's not to say your feelings about it will definitely improve, but I find it gets better as the cast gets larger.

Anyway, glad we now have some dates. I'm still excited about it.
