No offense but the work "Gay" is the first thing that pop in my mind after watching this. Saw some blog about the manga and it didn't help, apparently lots "yaoi" undertone in the first few chapters.

I am liking this series, though at first I was thrown off by the beginning of episode 2. I could care less about the "yaoi-ness" of this show. Regardless, I plan to continue watching it.

I don't see where everyone is getting the gay vibes from these two, anyway, I'm really liking the show I honestly do want to know more about what's going on. Also BONES you better not let me down like you did last season.

We have the classic "man vs society" conflict as the foreground, and it appears we'll be seeing a lot of the archetypical plot developments of that set, from the second episode. The show has a lot of potential, but I have the bad feeling it'll be another Fractale.

I'm really digging this show. It has a sort of dystopian feel to it that reminds me of books like Brave New World, and 1984. Sinister governments, dark secrets, mysterious cover-ups. I like it.
My group is also subbing that this season and I am the editor for the project. I'm happy to be able to work on something that I really like.

Before heading off to university, Safu offers Shion what may the most refreshingly direct confession I’ve seen in a mainstream anime – “I want your sperm. Let’s have sex right now”. It says something about Shion’s cluelessness that he’s surprised at all. Her follow up question is amusing, and no doubt one many viewers were asking last week – “Don’t you like girls?” But even more amusing is his response – effectively, “When you come back in two years, I’ll look you up and bang you then.” Definitely one of the oddest exchanges I’ve seen for a while.
