Well, naturally people are entitled to their own opinions- but there do exist universal truths amongst all peoples' of the world. Common things shared by all save for the few psychopaths. A fear of death- for example. Empathy towards those in misery. Murder, rape, theft, and torture are unacceptable across the globe (except-again- for degenerates).
So do you think prejudiced ideas will fade away? Or will the old ones be replaced with new prejudices against new people?
The one that baffles me the most is sexism.
We are a sexual species. We cannot exist without one another. This is obvious.
Now- whenever addressing gender issues- it's very easy to fall into arguments about double-standards and all that. Which is a derivative of sexism- but I'll consider as an entirely different subject to breach at a later time.
Yes, rape, theft, murder etc. are good points but the problem lies in the fact that those are detrimental to our society, where as gay/lesbian etc relationships are not(except for the loss in possible spouses for capable breeding)
I believe there will always be prejudice, even if we can convince people something is fixed there will always be the people who will point out what is "broken"
