Fouteen Fakku Friends Film Festival

[align=center][font=verdana][color=green]Hello, my fellow film lovers. Do you like films? Do you like watching films with friends? Well, the Fakku Film Night Club is now here!

Basically, this Club watches films with each other over Skype with microphone, so we can feel like we're watching the films with other people, instead of the reality of being all alone in front of your computer screen.

We watch a wide range of films, like comedy, action, animated and more, plus we always have so much fun talking about random stuff in between films as well!

However, I'd like to stress that you must talk in these film nights! If you're not talking, then we won't be able to hear you laugh or your witty comment about a certain character's haircut. In the past, we were more lenient with this rule, but now we've decided to make it a rule that you need a microphone.

In order to join this group, you'll need:

Skype
Microphone
Torrenting software

In order to watch the film, you'll need to have access to the film file (which will be supplied to you a few days before). When everyone is ready at 00:00, I'll count down "3, 2, 1, click", at which point, everyone will commence playing the same file at the same time.

If you want to join this group, PM me with your skypename and I'll add you as a friend - or if a friend already - I'll add you to the group.

Feel free to offer film suggestions as well! If possible, we are planning to have another film night on the date to be confirmed.

I'm sorry to say that my lack of a mic makes me ineligible to enter this group so My only question right now is if where you want this placed in the masterlist, in user interactive, clubs or personal thread?

It changes, Toxic. For the most part, we look at 10pm GMT, but it has been earlier and later than that.

I added it under user based then, I was thinking club since that is what you have in the name but this works also.

And yeah, if I get ahold of a mic I will be sure to let you know sam ^_^

I was thinking of called this group "Fakku Friends Film Festival", to cut out the "Club" all together, but I know people would hate me for needless alliteration. XD

Questions. When you say 0:00, which time zone are we speaking? Also, would it be possible for DDL instead of torrent? I'm a little uneasy with torrents, now that I'm in the US.

By timezones, generally speaking my time is used as the central time. So, GMT. Hmm...if you DDL them, you might get a different file from the rest of us, which might result in you being a few seconds before/after us, resulting in jokes or moments being ruined by you or us. With torrents, you'll get the same risk as you would with DDL's.

I need advice on how to torrent safely. I can't take the legal chances. >_>

[font=verdana][color=green]Only if you torrent extreme amounts, will you be caught. It's impossible for them to track every torrenter in the internet, so only those that distribute or download excessively will ever be caught.
