Casshern SINS

I just watched the first episode. It's still in the middle of production so no OP or ED is animated and there were tags all over it. But some of the friendly people at Madhouse ghetto subbed it. I must say it was AWESOME! I'll post a summary here later.
Also HUGE apologies. I forgot my camera or I would be uploading it for the internet. Seriously I feel bad about that. -1 internet points for me.

Having never seen any Casshern before outside of the live action movie I have no idea what the plot of the original series is. So if Casshern SINS is a remake or an adaptation I have no idea. As such I will be summarizing the episode as neutrally as possible.
First a little history. This much is pretty much known about the Casshern universe. Dr. Azuma creates some robots, they decide humanity is bad and thus try to eliminate them. The good doctor's son has himself turned into a robot-slaying cyborg to save humanity.

Sweet, thanks for reminding me, I almost let this fall out of my radar on account of all the other animes coming out.
THIS FALL SEASON ROCKS!!!!
[size=10]Which is good, since it should help me forget about Code Geass  [/h]

Casshern is so badass, plus Madhouse animation, equals winsomeness. Apparently, the remake is quite different from the original Casshern Sins. The main is quite the cyborg... ripping out wires like it was blood vessels and muscle sinews.

I must be getting out of touch with the action-themed anime titles, since fanservice ones are on the top of my priority list.
Perhaps, for the above reason, Casshern Sins does not really appeal to me, at least not the first episode. I couldn't really understand the entire storyline, apart from the fact that other robots believe the consumption of Casshern would make them immortal.
However, the fighting scenes will definitely appeal to those with violent tendencies. :D In addition, the artwork/animation stands out from that of other seriess, which may or may not cater to one's tastes.

Apparently it's only running for 13 episodes I believe... I wanna see a damn plot by now, even if I like the series.
Yea, kyosukei, it reminds me of Kino's Journey - no plot whatsoever except on an episode by episode basis.

well, it's kinda getting a storyline now.
with his encounter with the guy that's thesame as him :?
but hell it's still far fetched from being able to end the series.(considering this series will go for 13 epis) :?

Crucify me for a necro-bump is you wish people but I just finished watching the series and ... I'm utterly lost for words.
In all my years of watching anime there were but a few that I loved this much. There are flaws to name (perhaps) but when something makes an impact of such magnitude on you, they become insignificant.
Few will probably appreciate it but those who can (like I have) are in for a feast. The absolutely best series of the previous season(s) for me, pushing Rideback off it's pedestal.
A unique, dark and tragic masterpiece for the anime-connoisseurs out there.

Just finished watching Casshern SINS. Indeed, for me this is an anime to remember; sure at the beginning the story wasn't clear but for me each episode carried their own weight, its a journey so it makes sense for things to be foggy at the beginning. Its a good watch.
This is a necro bump isnt it? well its a good anime so its worth the revival every now and then.
