Mo-Retsu Space Pirates

Forget One Piece (apart from the hardcore fans). Here comes Mo-Retsu Space Pirates!

Scheduled for airing in January 2012, Mo-Retsu Space Pirates takes place in a future timeline, where the main female protagonist, Marika, is an ordinary high school student. Until one day, whereby she, as the direct descendant, inherits the space pirate ship and its crew left behind by her father. Gone are the days of an ordinary high school student, what new adventures await Marika, as the captain of a space pirate ship!?

I am very confident that Mo-Retsu Space Pirates will be full of ecchi fanservice and hilarious jokes. As with most pirate-themed titles, I am sure each character will be uniquely protrayed. :)

OT: Looks interesting enough. I might watch it when it comes out.

Just started, so not a whole lot the 1st Episode explained or did in my opinion. Have to give three more episodes to tell where this is going. More surprised I did not take a look at the VA roster, since it has two of my favorites already in it (Kana Hanazawa and Chiaki Omigawa)^^

Watched this one, pretty good start for me. I do like anime that involves spaceships or in some cases flying space trains.

This was a lot better than I expected it to be. Will keep watching.

When I heard the title I thought Rogue Galaxy with lots of girls oh jeez them girls ho ho ho.

Looks like it has potential and it is also a 26 ep series for a change.

Just ran through the first two episodes. I have to say that I like this a lot more than I thought I would. Gonna keep watching.

Well it was better than I expected, even if I wasn't expecting much, but yeah it's not that bad, will be keeping up with his one. Also it's kind of funny that there is zero fanservice in this show, too bad Gambler.

No fanservice!? How could that be? I must be getting old to be wrong in my prediction these days. ^_^;;

Now that Megaupload is no longer available, I must turn to alternative sources for my anime viewing needs. :(

Well, in exchange, you do get quite a number of characters that have at least a moderate amount of intelligence. Episode 4 certainly surprised me in that regard.

The story is progressing at a really slow pace, from what I heard the real action going to start at episode 5. I have no problem with it, but anyone looking expecting fast paced action from this anime gonna be disappointed.

After episode 5, I'm actually really getting into this series. Definitely one of my favourites this season.
