This is a side story of A Certain Magical Index.

Chapter 14 has been released, and it just goes to show that you never turn your back to a level 5 esper. The next chapter or two look like they will wrap up this arc (which is good because I felt this arc skirted too closely with the level of writing of Index).

hmm, so the new arc is the Sisters arc AKA accelarator ark, but from Misaka's point of view.. instersting... :D

Read this for a while and its only recently someone has been churnin out the chapters almost daily. Funny thing is Mangaupdates didnt register the recent chapters which comes to show the speed of recent chapters.

Love the Misaka clones, pretty adorable in some cases.

Although the manga progresses slow, they make every scene count by making
my fav char Misaka Mikoto the main character of the series

So I just read the latest scanlated chapter, chapter 43.

Currently the story is near Daihaseisai, and the committee for the event got it's proposal accepted by the higher-ups, which is "To Demonstrate the power of the Top Level Espers to the world".

So, I finally got to see "Queen", the #5 Level 5, and hints the appearance Sogita Gunha, the eccentric #7 Level 5, whose Power is completely feels random, and even the academy itself can't decribe it's original form.

This Arc starts out rather funny, since ALL the Level 5 have an eccentric personality that normal people might consider abnormal.

I expect to see some more Level 5 fights in this current arc.

And seriously have the hots for the "Queen"

Yeah it's shaping up to be quite an interesting arc. I can't wait to see the other Lv 5 espers in action! Especially the #2, from the hints in the manga his power looks 'pretty' dangerous, lol. Too bad it is only a month release... :(

If you read the original Index Light Novel, you'll know his powers. Because Kakinei Teitoku the #2, has a MAJOR role in the light novel.

His powers is called "Dark Matter". Basically his powers defies the "Law of physics".

No I haven't read any Light Novels, but as long as the future arc is as exciting as the last few I won't have any complaints. I really enjoyed Misaka's battles with the other Lv 5 espers, and hope the new ones can have a similar standard. Plus some more tsundere moments would be appreciated ^^

ALL (1-22) of it are already translated in Baka-Tsuki, even the SS series and the New Testament.
