the anime is a bit off and boring...but fun...the manga is still the best...only if the anime follows the manga directly...then it could be a great anime...

I have a poster of this series on the wall of my bedroom, and it looks like a boy love anime. I'm already in trouble after watching gravitation, I won't tell anyone if I ever watch this =P

I managed to get through the entire series, and like what many other viewers have mentioned, the subtle (perhaps overly) presence of yaoi can be a little disturbing.
My favourite character in the series would be Natsumi. Schoolgirls anyone? :D

people said the manga better, probably because its where it started and it has longer stories than anime. still, arts in this anime a bit better than its manga.
omg, getbackers is a yaoi undertone??!! i cannot see it that way. its a nice normal shounen anime to me. midou ban and ginji is just friends. and here i thought ban have some relationship with himiko, and then shidou with madoka. Well, Kazuki is different, he looks like a female, they even put a funny filler of him getting dressed in female nurse attire

Putting aside the gaymaker lovefest of Kazuki/Juubei/Toshiki I didn't really feel too much of a Yaoi presence in this anime. I mean it's there, but it's not too extreme that it significantly takes away from the story.
What really takes away from the series is episodes 26-42, which are almost all a load of crap (the standard 19 minutes of filler and 1 minute of backstory per episode).
The ending was kinda forced/junky, if anyone knows where to get the manga I'd be so happy to finally get to read it. I have up to chapter 21 of it and can't find more; I'm really interested to see what happens after where the anime ends (if the manga even goes past that).

Personally, I loved this anime, the first series more than the second though. The fillers in that Second season ruined it.
But apart from that, I thought it was a fantastic series, and managed to make good use of Yaoi, along with a great idea for the series in general
