Seirei no Moribito

I'm surprised no one started a thread for it yet. I don't have time to say anything right now, but I figured I'd mention Adult Swim starts airing it tonight.

Dammit, I was just about to make a topic myself when I remembered Adult Swim was gonna air it SUNDAY MORNING 12:30 A.M. RIGHT AFTER CODE GEASS!... but you beat me to the punch!

I just in fact re-started my viewing after I kept it on hold at episode 6. I'm currently on episode 9, but I'm not in a rush to finish. It is still definitely a very good show, void of the typical whiny protected character and cool silent male protagonist relationship.

Watched it awhile back. It was good. Yes, some of us watch dubs because we like anime that much.

i saw about 5 min of code geass dub and felt like shooting myself i was surprised how much they can ruin a characters image and take out important storyline they took orange out so later and in s2 their going to have to make up random shit to fill that in

Ugh, Chagum, no, I JUST heard his first line, waiting in anticipation, and it was the most annoying voice ever, I don't know who it was, but I distinctly recognize that voice from somewhere and remembering how ear-piercing it had been. I'm usually more lenient on Dubs, even when Kamina's dub had not been dead on, I still gave credit to the dubbers. But Chagum's VA was a big nono. I am displeased.

So I'm already confused about this series. The artstyle reminds me a lot of Blood: The Last Vampire.

Honestly, I don't really mind dubs too much. Seirei no Moribito is alright because I haven't watched it before. Its hard for me to watch the CG dub because of Nunnally. Every time I've tried to watch it I've heard her voice and just turned it off. They're going to start playing R2 right after their finished with S1.

What do you mean they took out Orange. I wouldn't know since I've seen maybe 2 or 3 eps, but that's just craziness.


I was gonna download it, but I'm already downloading Gantz, Utawarerumono, and a couple other series. I'd suggest checking to see if they have it on megavideo.

Heh. I would like to add that Rakshata's English voice is completely off, it couldn't possibly fail any harder. The whole Orange situation is still fine in the dub. They just say "Orange" or "Orange guy" instead of "Orange-kun".

On topic, I watched the first episode. I'm keeping my expectations low since I'm pretty sure I've seen similar plots. The dub is alright, but I chuckled when the prince started talking because he has the same voice as Laharl. It's nice to have someone who doesn't use a sword.

The Spike voice guy for teh samurai leader was jsut...wierd. Jsut didn't seem to fit.
