Kimi no Iru Machi OVA

Okay I just found out that KNIM OVA was subbed and I immediately watched, and my impression was pretty much.. meh.
Firstly it's the art,the characters look nothing like from Seo's works,I can't even identify who was Yuzuki and Haruto. At first glace I thought I was trolled by a random anime that was only named KNIM OVA. I only came to when I see the 'flash-backs' which was similar to KNIM manga. Well Suzuka's anime adaption wasn't really great either but at least I can tell the characters apart. The best drawn one was Nanami,I loved how she looked although it's still not perfect.
The story was okay, the flash-backs were confusing at first but everything's fine after you catch the flow. Although some of the sequence of the story development was off,the way they presented was good.
The OST was great,heart-warming,much better than Suzuka, and I don't think the same studio adapted this. I could use some information.
Well those are the only things I get so far,it's just an OVA anyway, can't wait to see the series. Just so people don't misunderstand,I don't really mind about the appearances but it just feels kinda off since I love the manga very much. Never judge a book by its cover, maybe.
So what do you think? Leave your interesting comments and responses beloooooow!

Mod Note: Topic has been moved from Anime General to the Specifc Anime Series section.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused.
Getting back on topic, given that there are 17 volumes of the tankoubon released, I thought Kimi no Iru Machi would receive a full season of anime. Perhaps, this OVA, bundled with volume 17 of the manga, is a good way of testing the market and reception of viewers.

I haven't got the chance to watch them, but I will when I do.
Well, is it worth watching in your opinion?
