Detroit Metal City

Holy shit. I just finished watching the first two episodes of this and I haven't laughed as much since Kamen no Maid Guy. It's the story of a (relatively) normal guy who just wants to write trendy pop songs for a living. Unfortunately for his dreams and aspirations, he becomes the lead singer/guitarist for an uber-popular satanic death metal band on par with Metalocalypse's Dethklok. Hilarity (and Ten Rapes a Second) ensues.

Seriously, if you haven't watched this yet, go find it.

Yeah this anime is awesome, everyone should give it a try.

I'd say that so far the anime outclasses the manga, and that's pretty unusual.

I'm wondering if anyone who's currently in Japan can tell us how the live action movie is, if you've seen it.

One of the funniest series I've ever seen.

I'd always seen a lot of people recommending this, but never was really motivated to try it. The other day I tried it, and HOLY SHIT!! I finished the goddamned thing the same night I started XD

I was actually unsure about this anime but yeah it's hilarious. I recommend for anyone who wants to have a good laugh.

I really wish there was more DMC.

The Triad has still only released ten episodes. :(

I'd switch over to the other fansubs, but I love Triad, and I have other stuff on my plate already. I just really wish they'd finish the series already.
