Robotics;Notes anime adaptation announced! Done by Production I.G., it will be airing on noitaminA this October! The 1st PV has been released and is shown below on noitaminA's official channel.
Robotics;Notes is 5pb & Nitro+'s third project following ChäoS;HEAd and Steins;Gate. The story takes place in the same world of Steins;Gate's true end (the world line of 1.048596). The visual novel itself will be released on June 28th.

The only thing related about Chaos;head and Steins;gate, is just Chaos;head happens before Steins;Gate.
Much like To Heart and To Heart 2 where the only thing related is the school.

the only relevant thing is they all happened in the same world setting. but you better watch Steins;Gate though. Just for the knowledge, you need it.
For Chaos;Head, better play the VN, the anime is a terrible adaptation.

As for Robotics;Notes I have high expectations to this one since they are going to make a movie already before they release the game. Maybe it has a great story line or something.

I'm looking forward to it but i'm worried a bit because it's not White Fox doing the adaptation and by the look of the PV's it's not going to be a story and drama roller coaster nor the same type of sci-fi steins;gate was. I guess i'll keep my hype meter in check for this one, which is a little disappointing.

Well i don't have any guarantee for the adaptation though.
But here's the synopsis
The near future, where a device popularly called the PokeCom, packaged with PhoneDroid OS, spreads, bringing the Augmented Reality world close to existence.
Chuuoutanegashima High School's Robot Research Club is in danger of losing its club status.
Yashio Kaito, one of only two members, is only obsessed with robot fighting games, showing no interest in the Robo Club even in this situation.
The reckless, useless club head, Senomiya Akiho, aims to complete a giant robot, struggling hard to avoid losing the club's status.
Then, one day, Kaito discovers the A.R. annotation that becomes the Kimishima Report.
Written in that report is the indictment of someone named Kimishima Kou's conspiracy involving the world.

Hmm the synopsis looks interesting, but it's not adapted by White Fox unfortunately, so i'm still rather skeptical.

New trailer, looks good but the characters seem a bit too hot-blooded to me. Also, that part at 1:40 reminds me of Star Driver.
