Zeta Gundam

I know the major parts of the story thanks to Dynasty Warriors Gundam 1 & 3 and am up to episode thirty. Who else enjoys this series?

Because I sure love Gundam.

Well i watch this series first on Animax lol and since then i have been Gundam Fans lol and Zeta is easily one of the masterpiece in U.C era so i suggest all of u guys to watch this one.(Watching Gundam 0079 will of course boost ur knowledge on the universe^^ however if u are unable to stand the graphics, u can just try to watch the movie trilogy which is compilation of the whole 0079 series+ special character like Gato)

i hope the love for Gundams overcome the graphics... 0079's Jet Stream Attack vs Gundam was epic even if it doesn't match the fighting/mech scenes of the latest series

Thats why i give them some alternative as "There" are some people who is unable to stand old graphics. If they are able to handle it, just go straight for the main series as it is more complete.(Anyway the movie is also good lol as it shows us many char that show up in the future of the series.)

Actually, the first Gundam series premiered before Transformers.

Transformers are themselves Walking/Talking robots, whereas Gundams are piloted. It is my opinion that Gundam as a series is much more related to the human experience, whereas Transformers is usually two sides struggling for control.

In transformers, death is rare. In gundam, death is common. There are more comparisons, but if you want to learn more, I'd be happy to share.

Zeta is my fav Gundam series. I'd like to say its the best Gundam, and probably the best written one ever. The MS designs were excellent ( Baund Doc for the win) and having a 3 way power struggle between Axis, The Titans, and the AEUG, and slap Scirocco on top of that, and things get awesome. And don't get me started on the Psycho Gundam....
So pretty much if anyone should watch at least 1 Gundam, this is the one to watch.
