Plot Summary: In the not too distant future androids have come into common usage. Taking the androids for granted, humans treat them as if they were common everyday tools, however, some people are unhealthily attracted to the androids due to their human-like appearance (save for a digital ring floating above their heads). This has become a social problem and these people are frowned upon as a result. Rikuo, who has taken androids for granted for his entire life, one day discovers that Sammy, his home android, has been acting strangely and finds a strange phrase recorded in her activity log. He, along with his friend Masaki, traces Sammy's footsteps and come upon an unusual cafe. This cafe's main rule is to not discriminate between humans and androids. D/ling this now...only one group has subbed it so far...
Each epi is 15 mins long and there are a total of 6.

Just watched the first episode, it was a little weird but I definitely liked it. I hope to see more.

Hmmm, I'm gonna have to check this one out.
EDIT: I just watched the first episode and I really liked it. I want to see more, I hope they come out quickly. I love stuff with themes like this. Should robots/androids be treated with respect or not since they are just machines? Is it right for them to have individuality? Can't wait to see where this show goes.

I've now watched ep 1 and 2 and I think it's been pretty good so far, I really enjoyed seeing the robot laws from Isaac Asimov's SciFi book, "I Robot" make a new appearance. I loved that book as a kid and I was quite charmed by the re-use of it.
The really sharp animation is a big plus yet the good writing really makes the show shine. The story line is an interesting look at robot and human interaction. They make an old plot idea feel new and fresh. The characters seem very real and they say things that make sense. A nice change of pace from the mainstream, which is my main reason for liking it.
I was wondering why it takes so long to produce one episode though.

Yeah, I liked the second episode as well. We get more familiar with the other customers. But man, talk about a really obvious and random Blade Runner reference!

Thanks since you helped to remind me of this. A very interesting episode. I'm glad that Rikou and Masaki have finally gotten used to the cafe now that Mikou solved the issue with Sammy.

That's an excellent anime. I love it very much since it has nice graphic and cast list. Of course, the story is also good. It might be rude, but I would like to say that it does imply our society today :D

Hey everyone, it's me Lazaforth again. Here to drop another mouthfull of words, this time it's about the anime "Eve No Jikan".
Words cannot describe how beautiful this anime was. True, the story between the relation of Cafe Eve and the Comitte are still somewhat vague. But the individual co-relation of both Man and Robot was developed quite well. Both sides expressing their dilemas and problems, as well as how they coped and overcame such ordeals.
I've just got done watching the last episode a few moments before i've started to write this and it sure was such an emotional ride (Yes, I am very sensitive. And my emotions tend to drift away into the anime, if it's good enough). I was nearly at the brink of tears.
"Eve no Jikan" is truly an anime master piece. And i'm pretty sure most of you would agree as well. Thank you Studio Rikka for making this breathtaking anime. From the animation, to the very soundtracks used throughoughout this anime. (If you notice me praising this anime highly, that's because that's just how great of an anime it was.)
Now, for my final rating of this anime... I give it 100 Lazaforth stars (based on a scale of 1 out of 5. And 5 being the best)
So if you've loved this anime, and you love to write. Please join me in my fan based Eve No Kikan RP(here in the forums).

Ah ... we finally arrived at the ending (possibly). It's been a long ride, but I enjoyed it all the way. I have to admit, I got choked up a couple of times.
Edit:
After nearly a year, the movie is out and subbed by Chaos Theory. It provides a bit more background information on a couple of characters. I did notice that one scene was removed from the movie. The scene at the very end of the OVAs where Rikuo's sister places a flower in Sammy's hair. Otherwise, this is every scene from the OVAs with the aforementioned background info.
