Umm i don't find CC and Suzaku at all there on the trailer except for CC VA there.

I read that in the advance screening they said that she will appear in the second chapter

i'll probably gonna pull a Movie Marathon because it's premiering on the same day of Another Movie Live Action.

"The side story takes place in 2017 a.t.b., around the time Lelouch took on the alter-ego “Zero” and built up his “Black Knights” rebellion army. The setting is in Europe, where the Euro Universe (E.U.) allied nations are being invaded by the overwhelming forces of the Holy Britannian Empire. On the verge of defeat, the E.U. army forms a special division known as “W-O†³, of which a young pilot named Akito Hyuuga is a member. Layla Malkal , a former Britannian Aristocrat comes to the E.U.'s aid, commanding the “Wyvern” Knightmare corps comprised of Japanese teenagers. They recklessly plunge into a battlefield, where the survival rate is extremely low, at about 5% only. They fight for their freedom, and for a "home" to which they can return."

First episode is out, I have yet to watch it but I felt it needed to be brought to everyone's attention.

Episode 1:
The main character may not be Lelouch, but this is some good stuff. And it doesn't look like it is going to focus solely on the EU perspective.

just finished watching the first ep, I like it, though I doubt we will see Lelouch at all...maybe at the end of this season/arc/thing leading into the R2 time period.

just happy to see some familiar faces :)

after watching ep 1 i think the king of kings is just not exclusive to lelouch. also, we got another kallen body figure + insane rolo character so it might turn out okay. im guessing it's a team now instead of 1

If Suzaku is to make an appearance, this would have to be during the time between R1 and R2. He wasn't made a Knight of the Rounds until after he betrayed Lelouch.

suzaku's got a frowny face though instead of his innocent normal face. im guessing he's a knight already at this story

someone clear this up: didn't britannia invaded japan on 2008? why did it move to 2010? as far as i recall, japan wasn't liberated during R1

It's always been 2010. And I was saying that this story is already after R1, ANN was wrong in their description as this is clearly after Lelouch was defeated.

Invasion of Japan, part of the Second Pacific War, took place on August 10, 2010 a.t.b.

So is this to be a monthly release? I'm hoping for that much at least because if this goes the way of Hellsing OVA releases (haphazard 6-8 months per episode) I'll be very unhappy.

It sure as hell isn't going to be a monthly release. Sources seem to indicate that the next episode won't be out until April. Could be earlier depending on when it gets streamed in Japan I guess.
