[Anime] Magical Suite Prism Nana
0
The anime studio SHAFT presented the first promotional video for its Magical Suite Prism Nana project at the anime's Comic Market 82 booth in Tokyo on Friday. The video confirms that Kantoku (The "Hentai" Prince and the Stony Cat.) is responsible for the original character designs. The story centers around three emotional adolescent girls from a future not too distant from our own time.

SHAFT+magical girl show, this better be some dark satire stuff/really fucking artsy or I'm gonna be disappointed.

Judging from that PV, this is going to be real cheerful.
Btw, did anyone notice that Unlimited Bow Works?

Yeaaaa I doubt this would be as good as madoka, since it looks like generic moe magical girl to me. But hey, it's from shaft, I'll still watch it.

I bet we'll get to see those discarded enemies from Madoka make an appearance on this one, haha. Since it's from SHAFT, can't wait for the release~

Spoiler:
Yeah, but then episode three happened.
OT: Like others have said, I'm none too crazy about magical girls but it's still Shaft. I'll watch if the first episode seems interesting.

^ Nice, I was trying to watch it on their official site but it looks like something's wrong with my browser that prevented me from doing that.
Got a clearer look now than before. I'm still convinced this is going to be a comedy show though.

The animation looks less than that of Madoka to me, despite having a similar setting. I remember the witch labyrinths being much more, exotic to me.

The witch scenes were done by a group called Gekidan Inu Curry, and I don't think they'll be working on this project, which is a shame because I freaking love their animation.

I may consider watching this but compared to Madoka, the PV looks very much like there wont be much killing for the main characters but who knows? Looks can be deceiving.
