[Anime] Sasami-san at Ganbaranai

Welp, what in the actual fuck did I just watch? It was strange but I actually really enjoyed it. The visuals and music were very good too. This seems like a fun anime so I'm going to keep watching it.

Also, dat chocolate ass...

I thought that for once SHAFT could make something...relatively normalish, but no...the brother is always covered by something, the main character can dress really quickly, censorship appears sometimes and sometimes they just forgot it. Not to mention, what they hell was up with the chocolate world...and then the Boobie Missiles, omg those boobie missiles.

Shaft does it again. Amazing visuals, great music and interesting characters. Sasami's brother's face always being covered by something never failed to make me laugh. I had no idea what was going on with the chocolate part but I loved it.

Can't wait for the next episode.

This is going to be great to watch. The less stuff makes sense the better in the first episode. A world of chocolate and three sisters with their own, uniqueness. This may just be my favorite new series this season

I had some doubts coming into this, but I'm pleasantly surprised. I thought the art style was especially interesting, what with the washed-out, watercolor look for when the scene is in Sasami's room, and then more crisp/"normal" elsewhere. It sort of reminded me of Bakemonogatari, with the semi-'avant-garde' thing it had going on (I hate myself for using that word, but in this case, it actually works, so meh). I loved the part where she was at the computer looking at all the stuff with chocolate in the name ("Choco and Choco and Chocolate? What happened to the love and elections?" Dem references). Like others have said, the battle scene at the end was funny and random, (fighting a sentient city made of chocolate, now that's new). I get the feeling there will be a lot more supernatural elements, if the opening is anything to go by. My theory is that the brother is somehow related to these supernatural happenstances, a la Haruhi Suzumiya. As a certain pig is known to say, "That's all, folks!"

Visuals was good and her room reminded my of Serial Experiment Lain as did the computer sound. I'm not entirely sure where they are going with this. I'll maybe watch Ep 2.

Suddenly it all makes sense.

I FUCKING CALLED IT.

All of those computers. All of that godly power in her brothers hands. Someone mentioned this has the feel of Haruhi to it, and it does. Now to see if the alterations are portrayed like they have been so far or turn into a tangible antagonist.

Another bizarre yet good episode. I sympathize with Sasami when it comes to oily/greasy hands on keyboards, electronics, and other things. I wash my hands all the time and I hate it when people carelessly handle my stuff.
