the huge media influence in america is caused by the liberalism and freedom americans is proud of,right?

nobody can stop the media,because there's no law and organization that controls the press flow.

one one side,free-flowing press is(and should be)a good government control.
the government couldn't do anything stupid because the press would publish their actions to the general public.

but the general public in america nowadays doesn't seem to trust the press.
maybe that's because the press is not reliable anymore.

then again,their unreliability is caused by the govermental influence.
the press' status as an individual entity meant serve as a public's watchdog is no longer exist,because the rich guys who own the media is playing along with the government(to get tax reduction,easier access to insider,or anything that could help their business easier,which in turm would make them richer).

so it's an intertwining,endless cycle of conspiracies and personal reasons.
and the general public,in this case,normal americans as the victim of that cycle.

maybe americans should have a semi-liberal press-controlling law and an independent,society owned press control organizations,like in indonesia.
the press can do anything,but if they went overboard,the government will do something about it.and in case the government try to mess up,the public press control organizations step up.this system is still not working smoothly in indonesia,but we're trying to get better as time flies by.

then again,there's no chance of that applied in american society,as it is against the liberal press system and freedom america is based on.

back to the fucked up system,huh?

With the way Obama is handling his campaign right now, I highly doubt it. He has changed sides way too often. First they shouldn't drill because of the environment. Oh, wait people might not like that idea because the soaring gas prices I better change my mind... If he became president, I doubt anything would get done.

I'm not biased on which color gets elected, I just want a good president in there that will bring positive change to America.

Obama will become the next president of the United States, he will he win mostly because Bush was such a bad president that a good portion of undecided voters will simply want to keep the republicans out of the white house. Obama will have a free pass when it concerns Iraq because he will simply use the previous administration for anything related to the middle east. He wont be a great president but he'll be loads better than the president you have now. He'll server 4 years, and depending on if a good republican comes along and if he's good enough to make the undecided voters forget about the Bush white house days; he may serve 8. You're in for a democratic president, senate and house of representatives for the next couple of years folks; better get used to it.

Actually no one really knows. The polls show they are pretty close and Mccaine has been catching up after people have seen Obama change sides so often. I really don't care since I don't want either to be pres. even though I'm Republican, but really, no one knows anymore. You may be wrong you may be right Waar.

well, the major problem with what you're saying is that normally these elections come up pretty close, but you're not really considering what the major deciding factor is on these elections; last time i checked the voter turnout was less than 50% and a large portion of those who didn't show up were black Americans, who probably will vote this time around; let's be honest; this elections will probably be the most interesting and active one from the past 10 years.

I dont particularly care who is chosen, as it affects me less that it affects the majority of you but I would like to tell my grand children that I was around to see the first black/female/hispanic/robot president selected.
