Amagami SS+ plus - Season 2

Amagami originated as an all-aged dating simulator released in 2009 for the PlayStation 2. It went on to be adapted into a 26-episode animated series the following year. North American anime licensee Sentai Filmworks announced in May that they acquired the distribution rights to the first season of Amagami SS and will begin releasing the series starting September.

The original plot involved high school student Junichi Tachibana, who is heartbroken after a former girlfriend stood him up before a Christmas Eve meeting. Two years later, Tachibana continues to loath the Christmas season until he considers going out with one of six girls at his school.

What's there to really recap about? I mean like each heroine gets like 4 episodes of their process into being lovers with Junichi. That itself is pretty much a short story already. Making a recap of 4 episodes=complete waste of time and money.

But at the same time, what is there to expand upon? If you are going to adapt it from the game, the only thing you can do is show the different possible endings. But that wouldn't be fun because Kaimax already showed them to us =D
(also, they pretty much showed all the best endings)

In the game you can confess in 3 ways, but she won't respond to any one of them seriously, hence they called it a Bad End.

Undoubtedly, there will be quite a bit of speculation; some viewers believe the series has been wrapped up while others may wish to see arcs of other characters being developed.

As long as the production team is capable and has enough material, I am sure the second season should keep most viewers satisfied.

That's the point of contention - does the production team have material to generate, at least a 12-episode, second season?

I felt they already exhausted the majority from the game story. It's like squeezing an almost-dry towel.

IMO, they can do better with an alternate retelling, i.e. make a new story for each of the heroines. Or make an entire 24-episode harem season a la Love Hina but Junichi only can choose one girl at the end. Should be fun if they indeed do, haha ^_^

Yeah, I would wind seeing a Maya-sensei/Hibiki route done, but I really, really, REALLY want to see a properly done Rihoko arc.
