Haven't played the game, and before even watching this, Ai Nanasaki will be my favorite.

Finally! A new drama romance anime! Was getting sick of all of these unoriginal
cheap ecchi/comedy/slice of life romances.

Really loved how the first episode began. Will defiantly be one of my keepers this season.

Haven't played the game yet. I have a friend of mine who has this one, but I'll hold off on playing it until I watch this in its entirety.

Hopefully it's good so it can whet my appetite for playing it, and fill the romantic niche for my anime watching lineup this season.

Like usual, you'll miss on "finer details" about the whole story, if you never played the game.

being a guy who already cleared Haruka's route, I can somehow predict what's going to happen in the next episode. XD

This anime has 26 episodes listed now by the way. So presumably 4 episodes a girl.

If my avatar doesn't indicate it already, I've been very excited about the Amagami anime ever since it was announced, and I must say that I am pleased with it so far. When I started the first episode, I immediately got a flashback to Clannad, and that's not a bad thing. I'm a sucker for romantic comedies, so this was a must watch for me from the beginning.

Anyways...as for episode 1, I found it very interesting that we began on a sour note of sorts, which is probably where the Clannad flashbacks began.

Anyways, Junichi seems to be a solid male protagonist so far. He has his faults, he's a closet pervert, and he actually has some confidence, which is rare these days. Although I must admit that I found him extremely cute when he was blushing around Haruka.

Speaking of her, she is very amusing to me. I knew what she looked like before the series began, and was thinking that she might be a stuck up, tsundere type of popular girl, but I was pleasantly surprised. I adored the fact that she made up a cute nickname for Junichi, , and fawned over cute things, because that's my weakness as well. I also found her enjoyment of water to be extremely appropriate. Her hair is wavy, like the ocean, and she has an easy-going personality, and is spontaneous and fun, (like how she jumped on top of Junichi-sexy, btw!) I was most excited for Kaoru for this series, but we shall see as time goes on.

I liked how we saw a glimpse of the other girls, and I hope that we see plenty more of Kaoru's antict's with Junichi's best friend when we get closer to her arc.

Anyways, it was a solid start, and I'm glad that this series finally got started.

each girl will have at least 4 episodes to herself, and that's already more than enough.

so, once again FUCK YEAH, I'll have more MORISHIMA HARUKA.

But yeah this is awesome. Also first episode just rocked. Really can't wait for the next one.

I'm still wondering if it will be a different timeline for each girl. Or if they will bring all the stories together and leave an open ending.

Maybe SS means Schutzstaffel or "Protection Squadron".

Amagami SS Kinda like the Waffen SS only more Lovely and 'Kawaii'. :)

Looks like some people can't grasped the idea of an omnibus format, and I had to explained that more than a couple of time in that discussion. lol

Man I really enjoyed the first episode, so much that i'm already itching for the next episode.

I reckon this is going to be a series I'll love a lot, hopefully it'll remain good consistently through out it's run.

Man, this is pretty cool. I'm starting to like Haruka. This might be one of those series where you just ending up liking all the characters.

They also have some interesting animation. When they look down to up, the characters are actually move along with the background.

I loved the first episode and I can't wait for the next. I agree with the above post regarding the liking of all of the characters.

Things are shaping up for this first episode. I wasn't expecting Haruka to be a Genki type girl if it wasn't for the fanart I seen.

To put it simply, it's a format that will allow all girls to have they're own arcs, own story, own endings.
